  • DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THIS OR ANY OTHER IN THIS MODEL IS WORTH ?

  • I have a 73 Guild Jetstar II wine colored bass as well. It's not the carved leaf one which I think is beautiful. One of my fave vintage basses i've ever owned!

  • I notice that the Rotosound tapewound string, the "E" string, is too short. Nice bass!

  • I have a 1973 Guild JS-11 Bass,looks like the one here only it is blond.All original,I am the 2nd owner.Really nice sound.

  • I have the Fretless JS II bass. I am the original owner. My bass did not come with those tuners. My bass being fretless has a much warmer tone. Your bass sounds a little microphonic. I toured with mine during the 70 with johnny Thunder and the funky monkey. I used Ampeg svt with 2 8-10 cab; great sound. It is great to see and hear another Guild JS II BASS. I purchased my bass at Guilsonite music in the Englewood NJ. Where did you get yours? Thanks for the post.

  • I think all JS basses came with those tuners from the factory, but I can't say for certain. Mine isn't microphonic, but the recording does have a slightly odd tone because I'm not running it through a propper bass amp. I found mine on Ebay.

  • what bass line are you playing ? i have the same exact bass but mine does not have the original bridge the previous owner put a solid badass bridge but very good bass indeed

  • First is The Knack's "My Sharona", then Cream's "Sunshine of Your Love", then Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain" and finally a little improvisational noodling.

  • @ValcoPages thanks

  • sounds like Bass, but its really cool looking

  • she's a babe!
