I don't think he is singing this Qawwali in New york or London to a western, most of the people present would not have understood what he was saying (the things he was saying in English) and to me his voice sounded horrible, I never commented about what he said in the Qawwali. The Hadith you quoted applies to you too, if you cannot say something good, better to be silent and not say words like "s**t" about others.
