u supose to eat 5 times a day but untill ur not hungry any more, that way ur metabolism keeps workin and burns fat and gains muscle as u work out at the same time, the protein, createne and all the other suppliments are just to make that process faster.

Here's a hypothetical situation. Lets say an athlete can do 175 pounds benched 10 times while not on creatine, and 12 times on it. While he will develop muscle by doing more reps, he will eventually go up to a higher weight. now say he makes it up to 185 pounds 10 times on creatine. when he cycles off, and his cells lose the excess water, he will end up doing less reps. meaning the majority of the gains are temporary.
