Dude, you never met jesus, and you don't know what he said. All you have are your moldy scriptures written by child molesters, and your own wishful thinking.
The verse says, Wa ina allahu akhrab lakum kul yameen. "Surely I am closer to you then your jugular vein" But allah is not physically around us, he has power over everything and he is the ultimate observer.
Its a hard concept to grasp but corresponds with quantum theory. Asana, you need to understand brother. The Quran does not outline the guidelines for a muslim, but tells Muslims to follow the prophets sunnah, his example. We have records of his sunnah telling the muslimeen to pray towards mecca, also there are verses which hint it! For example, verses stating to prostrate and recite during prayer as we muslims do.
Heh, although organized prayer is very important Asana, it gives people a sense of unity. Knowing that your brothers around the world are praying towards the exact same location at the same time is a blessed feeling. Just my thought!
Although, do you pray as Muhammad(pbuh) prayed prescribed by Allah? Im just curious lol Its rlly new to me meeting a "christian/Muslim" if thats wat you wanna call it:P
Actually I simply call it being "one made gracious by God/Asana." I pray in the manner that best befits me at the time. However in a mosque I tend to emulate those who pray there.
Well, the month of Ramadan is the mandatory fasting month but people also can fast optionally on other days. God bestowed fasting upon the muslimeen for a blessed purpose.
1)to understand how the needy and poor feel
2) To cleanse the spiritual soul and body
3)If you are able to keep straight with God by not eating then other days will be easier for you
I try to implement Ramadan like living everyday. It is just like the Sabbath, I try to implement this type of restraint always. These types of Holy Days is to restrain soul from being excessive in worldliness.
That simply was not the way I came to know. ALLAH lead me to the Quran and I could not put it down. It took about three days but I read the whole book page by page. I try to pray 7 times a day and I will explain why I do not fast during Ramadan.
I understand Asana, but as muslims it is best to describe allah as our master and creator rather then the "father." The word father has tempting roots for commiting shirk(polythiesm). That is why muslims like to use Allah rather then God. Add an S to God it becomes plural and etc, but allah cannot be manipulated it is at its purest form. This is a form of preservation and tradition.
Allah means "The God" There can only be one "The God" there can never be god's as The God is The Supreme entitlement. I see Father as Creator and so the Ultimate Creator is our Heavenly Father because He created everything it is just like how we call ALLAH "He" when realluy "Hu" would be more appropriate since ALLAH is not a man nor a son of a man and "Hu" is beyond gender so ALLAH HU AKBAR
Also, belief is just the first step. In Islam we are required to perform the 5 pillars of faith. This system improves the life of the believer in getting closer to allah. Praying 5 times a day to keep constant reminder of God,Fasting during Ramadan, Giving to the poor(zakat) and Pilgramidge to Mecca. These 5 make men pious submitters to the almighty.
I understand bro, but I dont agree you are a "son" of God. You are a servant and slave of the creator. In surah al Ahd Allah says " He is not born nor does he give birth." See brother, much of the reason why Christianity has been morphed into this jesus worshipping religion is the same fact that they associate humanly aspects to God.
Yes you are right! The quran simply confirms the revelations before it.Although, it also clarifies that the modern revelations(the books) have been changed by man and the absolute truth lies in the Quran. Therefore Brother, your technically a muslim. One who submitts to the will of God as Jesus,Abraham,Moses and Muhammad did.
Yes, but even more so I am a Believer. One can submit willingly or unwillingly but one can only Believe from striving in the way of Allah. Yes, call me a Muslim, call me a slave, call me a christian, affectionately call me a son, call me a witness. Any name of Belief is a beautiful name.
Say: "If the mankind and the jinns were together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another." [Qur'an 17:88
Peace and blessings bro, as a muslim I believe that a single error attributed to the gospel cannot be the true gospel of allah. And as muslims we use the quran as a yardstick to confirm what is true and false. Therefore, I shall believe a book which portrays allahs perfection.
Of course, this was in-fact what Jesus also did he was saying that they were being incorrect and he told the Jews how they had strayed and likewise the Christians have now strayed and Muhammad got the message from gabriel so there could be no doubt. The Quran is the yardstick but the entire series of Holy Books were revealed by Allah as it says in the Quran.
And this Qur'an is not such as could ever be produced by other than Allah (Lord of the heavens and the earth), but it is a confirmation of (the revelation) which was before it [i.e. the Taurat (Torah), and the Injeel (Gospel), etc.], and a full explanation of the Book (i.e. laws and orders, etc, decreed for mankind) - wherein there is no doubt from the the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists).
yes but proving the quran right from the bible, wouldnt that tell you that the absolute truth lies within the Quran? considering all the errors are explained and corrected from the Quran? Just curious :P
Yes!, of course, but that is the point. Allah reveals in stages and so even a seemingly confusing period of time is for the purposes of God. Allah will always out plot mischief makers and Satan. Think about it, Jews deny Christ and Christians deny Muslims but from the other side Muslims accept Christ and Christians accept Jews. This shows that God is progressive and Mankind is backwards except for those with understanding.
Hmm brother, can you explain the inconsistinsies in the bible? I've read it many time and always stumble upon errors and contradictions. Wouldn't this restrict the fact that it was the inspired word of God?
Inconsistensies are not as harmful as it would seem because inconsistencies prove truth. For instance, The inconsistencies in the 4 Gospels of the NT prove that the Quran is true when it says "They thought they killed the Messiah" If it appeared they Killed Jesus then you would have inconsistencies in the Gospels.
O people of the Book! commit no excesses in your religion: nor say of Allah aught but truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an Apostle of Allah and His Word which He bestowed on Mary and a Spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His Apostles. Say not "Trinity": desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is One Allah: glory be to him: (for Exalted is He) above having a son. Quran
Jesus is the Prophet and servant of God. He was chosen as a warner to teach people the gospel(good news). Thank you bro! What a beautiful video :) May Allah bless you.
Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: it is) a statement of truth about which they (vainly) dispute. It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! When He determines a matter He only says to it "Be" and it is."
You are a Muslim, as you let slip "Peace be unto Him". Why don't we agree to this : you don't lecture us about Jesus, the divine Son of the living God, who said of Himself "Before Abraham was, I AM", and we won't lecture you about Mohammed...Peace be unto him.
You don't want Peace to be upon Jesus? Jesus said when you enter a household put your peace upon it and to greet your fellow believers with a greeting of peace, do you disagree with Jesus?
Well...most Jews don't believe this, but for those Jews and Gentiles who believe that Jesus is the Messiah, we can't really say that Jesus is going to become divine, because we believe that he pre-existed. As he stated himself, "Before Abraham was, I am."
Bodhitharta, I respect your choice and hope the best for you. Peace to you!
Random point of clarification (From an atheist no less!)
"Christ" is a derivative of "Christos" which in turn is simply "Messiah" in Greek. So our friend here is saying "Jesus is the Messiah" (Which makes more sense I think).
Hence "Christians" (the of whom were Greek) means "followers of the Messiah".

No, what I mean by son is more relative in affection not in physicality.
Defined as
3: a person closely associated with or deriving from a formative agent (as a nation, school, or race)
Those who worship Allah recognize Allah has formed them and continues to sustain there form of Godliness. Allah is our Former i.e. Father.
