Or maybe they wanted to continue with their own projects. However Turner's co-work with his wife was rather disappointing to me. Too bad they have broken up.

I really wish I had a chance to see these guys in concert, they're musical geniuses. They mix a perfect blend of melodic slower almost stoner rock, with hard deep metal riffs, and combine a perfect concoction vocally of hard, almost death metal screaming with clean down to earth singing. Just purely awesome.

@TheBrainwaveControl It's all about dynamics - knowing when to hold back, and when to unleash. In this song, around halfway through, they do a class A bit where they hold back with some chords, then go all out over the chords, then bust out an even bigger riff. Makes for those points in a song where you think 'fuck me!'

This band is what i've been looking for. People keep giving me bullshit like nile and as i lay dying. Hard to find good bands like this.

Slipknot, Lady Gaga, and Justin Queerkid cannot achieve this kind of greatness in their songs, they are not worthy enough LOL! Isis gives it 100% and beyond in all their songs. There is not one Isis song I hate, and in my opinion...they are that good.

@TheBrainwaveControl It's all about dynamics - knowing when to hold back, and when to unleash. In this song, around halfway through, they do a class A bit where they hold back with some chords, then go all out over the chords, then bust out an even bigger riff. Makes for those points in a song where you think 'fuck me!'

@lordofdoosh actually a tv commecial said it was metal. and the last time i checked this could be considered soft rock. no heavy/fast paced instrumentals in it.
