On Dec. 7, 1941, while negotiations were going on with Japanese representatives in Washington, Japanese carrier-based planes swept in without warning over Oahu and attacked (7:55 A.M. local time) the bulk of the U.S. Pacific fleet, moored in Pearl Harbor. Nineteen naval vessels, including eight battleships, were sunk or severely damaged. Military casualties were 2,280 killed and 1,109 wounded; 68 civilians also died. On Dec. 8, the United States declared war on Japan.

the torpedo firing is a little not right, you have to go low and slow to hit your targhet, if you go too high the torpedo will will nose-down and sink and if you go to fast it will bounce of the water.

@John234pwns yeah well the japanese did have good weapons, like the dive bomb they used to destroy thye US Arizona (rip) but the torpedoes were more like kamikazi weapons since the warships would spray the plane with bullets once it ascented away.

orpedoes Launched From Air, 1933/10/23 (1933) and if a torpedo can't outrun a slow bi-plane it can't out run an Avenger.

That version of the Avenger is incorrect for the period.

The early war avenger, the TBF-1 was the early war one.

What you have in that game is a TBM-3 which wasn't introduced untill Early in 1943.
