  • Shoe friction, needs to be taken account for. And about the book being pulled straight up vertically, that requires more power than to drag it up the side of the triangle. The force is being confused for power as the same, and those are not the same states either in real life or in an equation.

    no. pulling it straight up covers very little distance yet going up a ramp covers a lot of distance, yet it reaches the same height.
