They take flv also, if you upload it by an flv, nothing much gets done to it, just make sure your flv is set to highest quality. depends on original video quality, i mean, u wont be able to make a miracle with a $2 cam, the more the High Quality the better. It's all on the source.

Folk should avoid green backgrounds in videos they're not gonna chromakey. I saw a guy do a vid with a green background, only to have someone else copy the video and put some nasty things in the background via chromakey and then post it as a response. The dude was pretty upset about it, and I can't say I blame him, but it could have been avoided by not using green.

well, the first dude had green in the back, and the second guy came way outta left field, called the first guy's logic fascist (though the argument had nothing to do with politics), and ran footage of Hitler foaming at the mouth behind the first guy's head talking. And second guy even called first guy an idiot for filming in front of a green background. So that's why I mention it. There are unfortunately a lot of folks out there with nothing better to do but ruin things for others.

There is one more thing you may consider discussing, and this it audio volume. I don't know if you noticed, but your intro/extro music's volume was quite powerful compared to the rest of the video's audio. Just something I noticed (the sub on my computer system clipped). My volume was set to your voice volume prior to the music. :-) Still, information I definitely need. Thanks again for sharing all this wonderful information.

I noticed that ever since youtube switched to HD my audio on my shotgun has been a little off. I do not know what is doing it, because the first part of the video sounds great on YT. Its not my file because I keep all my levels in the yellow and green. I might push it up a little in a vidoe and see how youtube treats it.

Haha no, I mean like. Okay. So you told me a while ago to render to 640x356. So I do that, on Sony Vegas, and I still get little black bars below and above my video. Also, which like kind of video, like MPEG-2, .WMV? Because your videos are flawlessy good in quality, and I've tried MPEG-2, I don't like HD, MPEG-1 is okay, .WMV is a joke, etc. any help?

i have a kinda off-topic question..

does anyone know the best way of getting a clip onto a pc, if it's recorded on a dvd camcorder?

i have a samsung sc-dx103 that takes pretty decent footage, but the only way i found to upload the video onto my computer is to re-record it onto moviemaker though an svideo cable hooked up to a dvd player.

so by the time it's saved on the pc, it's lost a whole bunch of quality. help?

your DVD camcorder should have the program that uploads from your camcorder to your PC.. otherwise doesn't the mini DVD fit straight into the DVD drive of your PC??

another tip, try a google search on 'sc-dx103 software' i did it and i found few things that might help you. go sus it out

but the only thing on the cd it came with is the driver and quicktime.

it connects to a pc through a usb cable,

but it just operates as a webcam.

..yes the dvd fits in my computer,

but i can't copy the files onto my hd bc it's in dvd format.
