I have a better idea for the new side pony:

1.- bring all you hair to one side

2.- take a little section of hair aout of the way and split the rest in 2 (so you have 2 big sections and one little section)

3.- Take the little section and wrap it into those 2 sections making a figure "8" (exacly the same tecnique you use in you "figure 8 braid" video)

4.- Repeat the same steps until the little strand is over and clip it with the clip.

could you do a slightly down, mostly up-do? Most of your hair up and then a few random pieces in the back down. Like Aria's on one of the newer Pretty Little Liar's eppisodes. The one where Ezra is grading a kids assignment and he gives hima a bad grade but the kid ends up inspiring him and he goes after Aria and they meet outside of a restraunt and romantically kiss in the rain. Oh, swoon! How I love that eppisode!
