Yep, I'll be getting some grief for my thoughts on this:

His response is as vacuous and unimaginative as every solo he has ever played. I have given this hack every opportunity to be the apotheosis of a rock guitar legend that his fans contend he is.

This empty-headed clod can do little better than to string together a series of cliches - both in speech and his guitar performance.

If his admirers stopped listening to him, and just played their instrument, they would exceed him in hours.
