wow. they seemed very....well...rude. giving birth is supposed to be a happy and "what the mother wants" experience and if i had have been given them people i would have been complaining to some people about their attitude towards you.
Congrats for the baby! Anyway it was horroricfic to see nurse and doctor to treat the lady like if he was supervising a construction job being done and make her wait?! what could've happen if doctor is not there??? God made women capable to birth on their own, if you leave a woman alone giving birth she will perfectly know what to do and when to do it. It is so sad that we don't know about how strong we are to make this happen.
i was moaning really loud with the last contractions that come just as u go to push ill never forget it1 it was amazing! and drug free! and also isee something white on ur right leg i assume its the thing that is attatched for the baby head i think its called the probe i had that too! much better than the belt CONGRATS!!!
Why are all you doc haters whining? The baby and mom did fine and are healthy. No harm done, and you have to "wait" to push cuz the baby will fall to the floor. The woman was in so much pain she did not even want to roll over, much let alone get into all the positions you "godly" feminists want her in. You girls are more controlling than the doctors you accuse of the same. My daughter was born in the hospital and we both did fine after 13 hrs labor, so get over your misguided hatred.
@da1073 In the United States - a country where 99% of all births take place in a hospital - 11 out of every 100,000 women still die during pregnancy and childbirth. That puts the USA in 42nd place for maternal mortality, ranked against the rest of the world. FORTY. SECOND.
So maybe you are fine, maybe your daughter is fine. If so, that's great. But before you rail against those who criticize American obstetrics care, maybe do a little research and make sure there really is "no harm done".
Well it might seem too "medical" to some people, but he was my SEVENTH child and I hemmoraged after my fifth, so we wanted to be prepared for anything. the Dr. was great, he's a very good Dr., the nurse was the one who drove me bonkers!!I don't think she typically does OB care... Anyway, thank you all for the congrats!! He's very precious! :)
this is not how birth should be. this is a very unnatural setting, and an unnatural position for all laboring women. watch the business of being born.
I am glad I did not have natural child birth. Too much anguish.
