  • This is so brilliant...

    Im flying away...

  • Magnificnt, Gorgeus, and yet Malicholic..My favourite (with Nostalgia) from the great David

  • David Sylvian sounds nearly identical to Ryuichi Sakamoto on "World Citizen"

  • @amiarage That's because it IS David Sylvian singing on World Citizen. Isn't the first song they made together. A lot of the songs on Sylvian's "secrets of the beehive" are made together with Sakamoto.

  • beautiful!

  • HIS VOICE MEMEMBER ME FRE BONGUSTO AN ITALIAN SINGER.

    LOOK FOR HIM.

  • Dreams are true while they last, and do we not live in dreams?

  • I love the mood and atmosphere of this song.

  • someone knows who made the art work for this album? it´s wonderful ;)

  • thanks, we love you david!!!

    come to greece at last...

  • Couldn't leave you if I tried

    Couldn't weather this alone

And through the darkness you still provide

The sweetest love I've ever known

Take the shadow from the road I walk upon

    Be my sunshine, sunshine

  • love the warbles in his voice

  • What is special about this city? Is it nice? :)

  • @pavel108108 Thalheim is a city in Germany where a famous Indian teacher, known as Mother Meera, made her home. It is said she communicates with people telephathically and transmits direct experience of transcendent consciousness. This song is not about romantic love for another person - it is an ode to spiritual love for this woman.

A fascinating book on the subject is Hidden Journey by Andrew Harvey. He then broke with Meera and Wrote Sun At Midnight.

  • Yeah, after a decade of totally experimental ambient albums, this one was an awesome one...

  • I love this song...much better than the dirge he's come out with lately !!

  • The Best Album...

  • One of my favorites..
