@bigrigdriver99 I did the aldershot tranasium and i agree with you quite alot of the people i trained with could'nt even do the first bit (jumping from a high board to a low board) the last bit is the worst walking the two bars right at the top..... fucking scary.

I practically shit myself on this sort of thing but have a few family friends who are ex-Paras and they say that they were scared of heights, but by the time P-Coy comes this is piss-easy and it's the 20-miler and/or the log race that have everyone bricking it!

Equipment is a lot more expensive than when I did it in1969, the planks are wider but they do them faster. The net on the Tarzan swing is fancier, looks a lot bigger & if we hesitated on the "Go" we were backsquaded. The parallel bars do not look as high. As I remember them they were in the woods and so high all you could see in any direction was the top of the trees and they were about 6 foot below your eye level.
