during the tail end of season 6 of Smallville, they had "Justice and Doom," which was two things: 1- a comic book-style storyline that wrapped up the Justice League storyline from season 6 and 2- an online puzzle/contest. During the online cotent, the shadowed figure would explain puzzles, etc.

Technically, J'onn only reverts to his true Martian form when he's in private. The first time he saw a human in his real form, the man died from a shock-induced heart attack.

I hope they get him his powers back in a damn hurry this season. Martian Manhunter is one of the characters with a lot of potential on the show. And really one of DC most under used heroes.
