@shuwukong hes not literally stating that hes rogue, he's just saying now that he pretended to be rogue ... the name rogue became his life. So, during the movie his life was like an assassin and not Tom Lone. Thats why at the end he drove off to start a new life.

Simply put, Jet Li (Rogue) was really Tom Long (FBI Agent). Tom killed the real Rogue and assumed his identity to find out who was responsible for the hit on him and his family. He finds out from Yakuza boss Shiro that Crawford (Jason Statham) "gave Tom up" to Shiro as he was working for him. On Crawford's defense, he didn't think Shiro would kill him but it was still no excuse so Tom kills him. Make sense?
