I find it funny that people would consider this show fake simply because they dislike it. First off, just because you don't like it doesn't make it fake. Secondly, I understand questioning if it is, I mean it's a show. But not for that reason.
Now I don't see why people hate him so much. Yes he yells a lot and that can be annoying. But at least 90% of the time he's justified. His yelling is a sign of him just being human. He doesn't pretend to be a big shot and even admits his flaws on stage

Most of the behavior of the guests are usually outrageous in a certain way that becomes the reason for being on the show. And that behavior only needs common sense to realize how wrong it is. People have a such thing as a concience and we can use that to judge as well. The rest is technical stuff like lie dectector stuff.

He never even gives his guests room to talk. Yelling at someone and getting up their faces isn't a way to solve problems. All it does is cause people to get defensive and start lying.
Yes, they may feel remorse, but its hard to show remorse when all you are doing is getting yelled at.
The worst part about it is that alot of these people on his show have paid their dues by the mistakes they have made by doing time in jail.

I love steve. I feel that his shows are much better than jerry springer and maury shows, because it seem real, all the emotions real. And i think steve really really cares for the people he is trying to help, esp children and those that are defenceless. Lately i feel that maury and springer is getting more about drama, plu they seldom give any help afte the show but steve do. I love him, i wish he is my dad.
