Went to locals and played ninjas. Was doing okay and then I got White Dragon Ninja + Safezoned. I kept reading the two cards over and over in disbelief. It's insane!

The reason y fiendish chain cost that much is becuase it also stops the attack of the monster. And it's a continous trap,

Y safe zone cost that much. well only i can say is , that's the way it is.

if u want to solve the situtation when a safe zone attach to a monster, it like a reaper, which is a great way to stop opponent from otk or whatever else. zone can also chain to target opponents monster when it's going to be destory.

fiendish chain is a solemn warning....solemn warning makes ur opponent stop there summon and attacks. fiendish does the same thing but keeps them on the field

This has always been a problem for yugioh. Good cards get ignored until the Gods at pojo or else decide it's good and the price goes up. Now the people who saw this card's potential from the start and were using it long before it got popular will be accused of following the trent. The people with Multiple F. Chains are those who were smart enough to see this card's potential and stock up. Mark my words, the same is going to happen with XYZ Territory about a year from now.

I got a Fiendish Chain in a trade a few months ago awhile back (a Safe Zone too =D). It was siting in my binder Friday night, and I decided I needed to main it.

Then I got second place in locals next day. I think I'm ready for the format with my lucky-ass budget HERO Beat deck. I sure hope so.

I seriously came up with that combo, I was the only one using it on DN for ever. Back in November when no one one knew shit about ninjas. Not to mention I use to run a fun lock down ninja/dark simorgh combo. Though that is a easy combo to see, the white dragon ninja/safe zone lock was my idea first. XD

Fiendish Chain is good but doesn't stop the problem completely. You negate the effect but the monster is still on the field. Its like a water leak..you put a bandage on the leak but its still dripping water. Nice, I stopped stardust but oh crap how am I going to get him off the field?
