  • This is what my Grandfather used in WWII.

  • @ARomanianKid14, That's right, that is George C. Scott's voice. My father heard the real Patton's voice after he pinned the Bronze Star on him serving in the 3rd Army 95th div.

  • omg... is that the voice of George C. Scott? for those who dont know who that is.... its the guy who played George S. Patton in the movie Patton.

  • Go to National Dusters, Quads, Searchlights Association for more info on air defense artillery.

  • galloway? is something relationated parent with the journalist joe galloway?

  • That's a lot of 50 cal....

When I was very young I knew a man who'd been a Colonel in Italy in WW2 with the US Army. His name was Galloway. He commanded a unit of half tracks. Some had 75mm cannon and some had Quad 50 cals.

One day he got very serious when we were talking and he told me about being ambushed by some Germans who were behind a stone wall. He described the Quad 50 destroying the wall and everything behind it, and told me about war for real, no BS.

    I'll never forget him.

  • hey thats tight shit..hang on to that.........
