While Ayumi Hamasaki is an amazing artist and great singer, I don't think she's the best singer in the world; that's a bit of an over statement. It's also an overstatement to say that she's the hardest working artist in the Japanese music industry; that's not true. She does work hard - very hard - harder than most western celebrities, but she's definitely not the 'hardest working'.

She is a very talented woman, though.

Actually, now, it could be accepted as "hardest working". Deaf in one ear, still doing stuff like crazy, creating new stuff after 10 years, that's some hard work... Sure, she may not be the best, but I think the effort she puts into it could make her the best in that sense. I really can't think of anyone harder working, with constant activity such as Ayumi.
