  • You might think someone who offers audio advice could make a recording that works in both channels. Epic fail....

  • Mine came with a manual.

  • will it work for live radio broadcasting?

  • i need help, my c03u wont install on my windows vista laptop, it keeps saying it cant install because there is no co3u driver software on my computer, can anyone help me get through this

  • Nice review. Thanks.

  • Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. It is my favorite microphone.

  • Thanks for the PM..I'll definitely keep what you said as a suggestion when the time permits! I've been hearing other suggestions for this mic as well...seems it's got quite a good following in the podcast community.

  • I've been thinking about doing podcasts and have heard positive things about the COU3. However, seeing as I like to use headphones, will I be able to hear myself in the headphones by using this particular USB mic? thanks...nice vid BTW!

  • Thank you for your comments. This microphone is really great. For podcasting I highly recommend it.

You should not hear yourself if the audio you are connecting to with the headphones is the speakers. You could unmute the microphone in your sound card settings and you should be able to hear yourself in the headphones. Best of luck.

  • so you're talking about audio recording where your own recording is a pretty poor quality and only audiable in the left channel? - hmmm

  • You know comments like this make me think people have no brains. I explain clearly about the microphone I'm using and the one I do the review for. The one I'm using in the video is a small mono microphone that fits on your clothes and connects to your camera.

The one in the video which I'm doing the review for is a stereo microphone, for podcasting. Please next time read the title and listen to the video before posting stupid comments.

  • Hey buddy excellent video you should be in the news! Is there any sound qtly difference between the co1u and co3u? I got the cou3 because it said super cardoid, the other one said hyper I assumed the 03's got a better ability to reject unwanted sounds Thanks!

  • I love the COU3 because it has better sound quality. I use audacity for the software to record my audio. Thanks for your comments I appreciate it and I'm glad you liked the video.

  • Yes thank you, I already commented about this. The problem was that the microphone did not come with a manual. I later figured it out

  • The reason it's loose is because you put it on upside down.

And the little gold screw is an adapter for european mic stands.

  • A lovely clear video - many thanks! (I found it via Joe Dale's blog and he's obviously delighted with the product too!)

  • No, Thank you for your comments, I appreciate it. Glad you liked the video.

  • great video man i found it very useful

  • Thank you for your comments I appreciate it. I'm glad it helped

  • I appreciate and thank you for your comment but I double checked and the way I show in the video is the way the stand goes. The video shows it correctly.

  • mine didnt either have a manual but for a strange reason i got mine with the suitcase with a mini stand, extra usb cable:S lol

  • I've bought the product and foiund you video helpful to set up .. especially re: removing the adaptor thread fro the stand .. woudl not have worked that oe one out without you!!. I have the manual, and in mine, it shows the attachment as SNSnowmkaing describes it, and it does seem to work that way round .. makes it easier to detach as well. Many thanks again for your recommendation.

  • You may want to double check how you attached the stand to the mic, its actually on upside down. The part that flares out should face up, not down and when the connection bolt is attached the mic will fit snugly onto the stand.

  • You are right, I checked it again and yes I have the piece that screws on the wrong way. The stand is not the problem is the bottom piece. Thanks.
