despite what I just said, Hall looks good and he is in pretty good shape while he was with TNA this time. nWo was great from its inception until around '97. At that point it was a bloated, messy entity that was nothing more than the keep Hogan as champion machine. A lot of guys could have benefited from feuding and receiving a push to main event status with the nWo; not simply joining the faction.
Benoit, Guerrero, Jericho, Goldberg, Hart, Mysterio; WCW could have made them the top faces to challenge the nWo
I think today's wrestling focuses too much on that whole stable thing like the nWo or the WWF/Alliance conflict. It never gets so good than it used to be. All the bigger wrestling brands have to accept that fact and stop digging the old stuff out and trying to imitate that. You can see that in WWE with Nexus and in TNA with Immortal or Fortune; epic fails. My opinion.
Anyway, the NWO is what got me hooked to wrestling in the first place back in 1996 (I started watching WCW before WWF/E) but that was then. Hall and Nash look like shit now, Hogan is in his sixities or something, and it's been resurrected and run into the ground plenty enough. Let it go already.
@247xReviews, I will agree that X-Pac isn't as old as most, but I will not agree on that his body is probably worse off than some of the older ones. He has been wrestling since he was 16 and in the early parts of his career was much like Jeff Hardy is now, with a beat up body. I am not saying he can't wrestle by any means, but I am also saying that he body is probably about worn and old as those guys.
Scott Hall looks so sloppy in the ring..... I mean U have been a fan of WWE since I can remember, but I will never turn away from something that looks like a good card to watch you know? Yeah it's like I said, if Hall and Wlatman stay clean and sober, this could turn out alright.
The biggest thing missing from all the nWo revivals were Hall not really being a big part of them, or not involved at all, cuz of his problems.
Waltman is at his best when he's running with Kliq members, but his demons need to be kept in check just as much, if not more so that Hall's.

Scott Hall was a pioneer for what came to be known as the attitude era. Razor Ramon was mainstream wrestling's first character that truly embodied the "bad=cool" philosophy. Guys like Austin, Rock, HBK, HHH and many others took it and ran with it later, but Hall was the first babyface with an edge. He was also the guy who kicked off the nwo invasion-the single most successful angle in wrestling history. He may not have won any world title, but titles are for marks anyway so who cares.

Snuka was the top guy here in the States right before Flair and Hogan got HUGE. He wasnt the top guy for long, but I feel it still counts.
Hennig did win the AWA World Title back when the AWA still mattered. As far as I'm concerned, ANY world title win over Nick Bockwinkel counts as a big deal. Especially when you hold the title for a year. See ya.

When I say bad=cool, before Razor Ramon you just came out and cheered the good guy and booed the bad guy. Case closed. The good guys were good, and the bad guys were bad. Ramon was bad=cool because he acted bad, but he was good. He was the first good guy with an edge. The Horsemen originally were ALWAYS HEELS, and were always booed.

Right when he signed with WCW, he came down to the ring grabbed the mic and said "you want a war?" implicating that the WWF was invading the WCW. These "outsiders" were joined by Hulk Hogan at Bash at the Beach which is now common knowledge as we all know. The nWo was the brain child of Eric Bischoff and you can wikipedia that if you don't believe me.

Scott Hall was just fortunate enough to be associated with the IC Belt at the time due to HBKs suspension beforehand. Shawn made that match, not Scott. Dont get me wrong, I liked Hall... I still think he is pretty cool... but I dont want to see him on TV anymore. And sort your facts out.

Razor Ramon is probably the most iconic IC champion of the 1990's, he even went on Jerry Springer with the Intercontinental Title and gave the replica to a boy with AIDS whose hero was Razor Ramon. HBK is the greatest in-ring performer of all-time, but HBK couldn't have had a ladder match with himself. You have to give Razor his credit. Get YOUR facts straight.

The Razor Ramon character paved the way for other good guys with an edge such as Stone Cold, The Rock, and the current Randy Orton character in his feud with Legacy as he acts bad but is cheered as he battles Rhodes and Dibiase. Ric Flair had an attitude and swagger, but he was still booed and so were the Horsemen originally.

Plus, as a UFC mark you should be ashamed that "fake wrestlers" can pack 93,000 fans into the Pontiac Silverdome or 200,000 fans into the Tokyo Dome in Japan and your UFC boys can't.
