this is useless if the dsl modem is a dsl modem/router, it will give NAT problems everytime you play online. Make shure to look for how to put it into bridge mode.

@scorch1911 yes you do, but unless you put your DSL modem/router into bridge mode youll have double routing when you plug it into your wireless router. This means your connection to the internet will pass through, as the name implies, two routers. Double routing can cause NAT problems, turning it into strict or moderate. By putting your DSL modem/router into bridge mode, you remove its routing capabilities and solve any problems you may have. You need to configure PPOE in wireless router though

You don't have to set anything to get the router to work.Once it's connected to the modem,all of the settings are detected automatically.

Add a Wireless Access Point, connect it to your Ethernet router. Configuration and setup vary from brand to brand and model to model, but usually between a cakewalk and slightly involving. Good luck.

When i install my WGR614 v7 it pop up that i not have internet! and i must do 3 steps. First turn on/off my modem next turn on/off my router then connect to the computer. Plz help!

If you're running a dsl modem then your isp should set the modem to PPPOE protocol so that it will work with the router. you can configure the router for PPPOE but it's easier for your isp to configure and test it for you to make sure everything is working. I hope this helps.
