The guy projecting was me. ;-) Weather it's better or not is up to your choice - a lot of people prefer rear projection, but in this case it was a solid wall.
Most dancers don't notice the dif! ;-)
I tend to like front projection, because it "draws them in to the image" even more... plus easier set up.
Some people don't like being projected on. That's fine, but
I say to myself - "you're a performer - you wanted to be up in lights, right? ;-) "
When running background visuals or visuals like this guy is doing is it better to have them forward or rear projected? How many DJs or VJs stand in front of the projected surface? Does this even matter to most clubbers, dancers, or party goers?
