This game is incredibly short and gnasty gnorc was a bad excuse for a boss. However, this is a good adventure/platformer compared to the other Spyros that followed.

@Shadowspear115 A lot of people bring up how weird Spyro sounds in this game. It's mainly because Spyro had a different voice actor in the first game. The one we're used to hearing didn't become Spyro's voice until the second game, Ripto's Rage (or Gateway to Glimmer for some).

@bubpie1 First game, Spyro was voiced by a completely different guy. They got a new guy to voice Spyro in the second game who stuck with the games as far as I know for quite awhile, even after the franchise switched companies. I don't play the new ones so I don't know if that voice actor is still there.

@Spud17593 omg I love Croc! I asked for that, Croc 2 and this game. :D Really I don't really get the whole obsession with graphics that "look like real life." I thought the point of gaming was to not be in the real world? lol Maybe it's just me, but often times I think they focus so hard on what it will look like instead of it's originality. Not that there aren't good modern games, I'm just saying. idk Why but I actually prefer the blocky yet colorful graphics of the 90s lol. ;]

@gigigamer Yeah, this run I did was on my PS2 and the slot files you see at 0:12 are from my PS1 memory cards. I'm sure you can find a really cheap PS1 memory card online somewhere and maybe that will work.

@motorboyguy989 no,that's not reallywhat I meant.I know the graphics are edgy and not the best,but,the graphics in the game are actually quite smooth.however,for some reason,my ps3 emulator that runs any ps1 games that I purchase dosent run the games as smoothly as they should.the graphics aren't only edgy,but partially distorted...oh well,thanks for trying anyway :) I'll live with it for now :)

Records directly from the tv. You need both an input for the game system, and an output for the Dazzle.

Its really hard to believe that the concept of Spyro was actually brought up by Craig Stitt. (the guy who used to work for Sega Technical institute in the 90's and was the same guy who did the art for the most famous lost zone in Sonic 2, Hidden Palace Zone.)
