@kutsmuffin the issue is not that 3 players got killed looking closly to their gear they did not have any pvp gear on them, that makes a huge differance in pvp.
i notice it self when im healing, some one with or with out right gear, dont get fooled by the numbers of killed or the dmg, if you dont have pvp gear youll take more dmg and do less dmg to pvp geared players.

The skill that increases stealth level and movement speed is awesome in leveling, as well as sucker punch, because you get an upper hand per killing blow.

@Ilvllangle the fastest way to level up is as a group (3-4 players) by doing all quests (including the bonus ones) and 2+/4 heroics + appropriate level range flashpoints when you can complete a daily. The second fastest way to level up is to solo all story + side quests + all bonuses, doing what 2+ heroics you can manage if it's quick (IE someone is already in the same area questing and you group and knock it out without going out of the way). Do space dailies, do PVP dailies.

Level 50 Champion Shadow right now with just over 300 expertise and I've just started to hit up in the 3-4k range on any attacks. Prior to getting expertise I was lucky to break the 2.5k in one attack and that is even with shadow strike during my proc to make it ignore armor.
@Xenogenesis9 A fresh level 10 shadow will hit harder on shadow strike than an undergeared level 50. This is just the way it works right now. I am not spreading misinformation.
@Kutsmuffin It is misinformation. I was a fresh level 10 and Shadow Strike at level 10 hits for MAYBE 2.8k if you're lucky.
The only way you're going to hit nearly this hard at level 10 is if you go straight for "Infiltration tactics" and use Shadow strike on a proc and have very good gear for a level 10. Even then you'll be lucky if Shadow Strike ACTUALLY hits anyone as it's still afflicted pretty badly by the animation delay.
Go try and get someone else nerfed instead of spreading BS.

It will only take you a couple of hours, just level a shadow to 10, go into a warzone with only the random quest gear you got on the way, and hit other assassin/sorcs with shadow strike. By level 35 it was only hitting for 3k.

@RawbGamer He's actually really good. Because his class is "supposedly" OP doesn't mean he's a bad player. He does some stupid shit with bad target selection every now and then, but he's a good player, especially considering this game lacks macros, his ability management is great.
Only undergeared bads complain about Smugglers. They're largely ineffective in real group situations with healers and tanks using guard because the opening burst is all they have. Consumables make any class reach insane damage.
If you think its the consumables you turds need to look at Scoundrel/Operative talent tree a little closer and compare it to its sister class Assasin. Noobs will stay noobs.
@foulchiseler Lvl 50 shadow and 40 scoundrel here. Scoundrel is more of a true rogue compared to shadow. Shadow is more like an enhancement shaman + stealth.
And it is consumables. Picking up the expertise buff + using your expertise pot is an instant 30% damage, healing, and defensive bonus ON TOP OF the rediculous rakata pot from bio (about +160 to main stat). 85% of scounrel is them opening on you from stealth. Pop trinket + stun/defensive CD and its K.

@foulchiseler I do see Flechette Round taking a nerf in the near future, either some % Arp or the duration of it just because of all the QQ. If you know you're fighting one in a warzone, save your trinket (Trinket -> Stun) for when they open up on you and pop a few cooldowns.
If you are getting two shot then you're probably in over your head by being either low level, gearless, or low geared fighting the best smug/Op on the server. Also, Shadow's Infiltration tactics talent. GG.

@m3gat120n I already get 97% surge from just popping the relic, and you can't ever reach over 100% surge, as diminishing returns hardcap it in the 99% range. 565 power hits no diminishing returns and gives much more damage.

@micharulz - it's not Biochem. It's the power stim (+~100 base damage), the surge relic (+~40% critdmg), warzone red buff (+15% damage) and the expertise stim (+15% damage).
@killerdamo1 No it doesn't, it's a display bug. All the bolster does is scale your stats and abilities to a fresh 50, otherwise you would see level 10's with 16k hp.
They are blatantly overpowered, it is understandable that people want to defend their class and continue facerolling, but class balance is important to any MMO that hopes to last. I'm positive it will get nerfed somewhere down the line.
Aside from the 6.9k at the very beginning, I didn't see anything in this video that my Commando can't do from range, without stealth, with less gear, against better players.
Scoundrel/Op aren't overpowered, they're just really good against idiots who don't know how to kite. This burst really isn't all that impressive when you consider how utterly useless the class is against any sort of half-assed kite class.

If anything, Biochem and stacking PvP buffs (Relic, Warzone buff, Stim, Adrenal) are what's overpowered, not Operatives/Scoundrels. It may just seem that way because you're stunned for the duration of their burst instead of just being Grav Rounded in the face for 4k a pop from 30 yards.

Scrapper fighting seems so much smoother in this video than operative. I have trouble even getting my abilities off sometimes... though when I do, it's just as disgustingly OP as this.

Point of the video is to show how consumables make people super-powerful, not to show off his l33t skills. Balance consumables then you can take a look at class balance.

Only undergeared bads complain about Smugglers. They're largely ineffective in real group situations with healers and tanks using guard because the opening burst is all they have. Consumables make any class reach insane damage.

@foulchiseler Lvl 50 shadow and 40 scoundrel here. Scoundrel is more of a true rogue compared to shadow. Shadow is more like an enhancement shaman + stealth.
And it is consumables. Picking up the expertise buff + using your expertise pot is an instant 30% damage, healing, and defensive bonus ON TOP OF the rediculous rakata pot from bio (about +160 to main stat). 85% of scounrel is them opening on you from stealth. Pop trinket + stun/defensive CD and its K.
Noobs will stay noobs.

@foulchiseler I do see Flechette Round taking a nerf in the near future, either some % Arp or the duration of it just because of all the QQ. If you know you're fighting one in a warzone, save your trinket (Trinket -> Stun) for when they open up on you and pop a few cooldowns.
If you are getting two shot then you're probably in over your head by being either low level, gearless, or low geared fighting the best smug/Op on the server. Also, Shadow's Infiltration tactics talent. GG.

I don't see Smugglers at top of leaderboards any more than some other classes. I would like to know some statistics on this. Anyway, this person deserves the kills from being one step ahead of others and having what seems to be, great gear. I would like to see the facts or theorycrafting of biochem and what it does vs other crafting side by side. This is not primarily a result of biochem.

@m3gat120n I already get 97% surge from just popping the relic, and you can't ever reach over 100% surge, as diminishing returns hardcap it in the 99% range. 565 power hits no diminishing returns and gives much more damage.

I have a Scoundrel at lvl 43, I crit for 3600 with the expertise buff, and the expertise pot active. Can't wait till im lvl 50 in Expertise gear. After watching this video i stopped playing my sage and now i'm building my Scrapper up to 50.

@micharulz - it's not Biochem. It's the power stim (+~100 base damage), the surge relic (+~40% critdmg), warzone red buff (+15% damage) and the expertise stim (+15% damage).

@killerdamo1 No it doesn't, it's a display bug. All the bolster does is scale your stats and abilities to a fresh 50, otherwise you would see level 10's with 16k hp.

Aside from the 6.9k at the very beginning, I didn't see anything in this video that my Commando can't do from range, without stealth, with less gear, against better players.
Scoundrel/Op aren't overpowered, they're just really good against idiots who don't know how to kite. This burst really isn't all that impressive when you consider how utterly useless the class is against any sort of half-assed kite class.

@baskyn544 Then you obviously need to pick up Biochem and PvP gear and stop comparing someone's burst against you when they outgear you and have BY FAR the best profession in the game.
If anything, Biochem and stacking PvP buffs (Relic, Warzone buff, Stim, Adrenal) are what's overpowered, not Operatives/Scoundrels. It may just seem that way because you're stunned for the duration of their burst instead of just being Grav Rounded in the face for 4k a pop from 30 yards.
