this ending suggested the Batman killed the Joker. that goes against his creed. plus, they made him say one of the best lines in the original film in the most chesiest way.

@saydur I agree with you that they need to be clearly marked, but I spit on people who make TAS runs and expect to be lauded with praise.  My 8 year old self calls all TAS runners out.

@danblaze83 If you knew what went in to a proper TAS run, you'd see that it takes a different kind of skill. Many legit speed runners appreciate TAS runs as amazing tests of just what the limits of the game are, let alone the human component. Of course, expecting to be lauded with praise is silly, but it's fair for them to point out it can take a lot of work.

This is the first video game I ever saw. I remember it like it was yesterday. We went to my cousins place for a visit. And when we came in, he was playing NES which i never heard of before. It was like a cartoon, but he was controlling the character.

The next weak after that, NES was all I could think about. And then finally my dad bought me one. My favorite games were Adventure Island, Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, Tiny Toon Adventures.

For some reason I didn't like shooter classics like Contra

It's tool assisted. I know this game. There 2 times he went right thru the flames of the baddies with flamethrowers and should have registered a hit. Still would have finished the game amazingly fast.

Nice video but it will be better if he try to make a speed run without tools or anything! then we can see the true potentials of this hard ass game! i remember playing it with a save state and even then it was hard as hell.

Whether or not this was a tool-assisted run, that's some excellent playing. There are no known invincibility cheats/Game Genie codes for the game... and that's why I haven't ever finished it.

The timing in this video is just too godly.

Also, he should have taken damage at the 6:32 mark. He clearly gets hit by the flame.

It's just impossible for someone to maintain the level of accuracy and timing displayed in this video without the help of either savestates or slowdown.

I think it's really fun to watch, though.

When the enemies are taking damage they go into some sort of hit stun and they cannot harm him when he touches them (although it looks like bullets and etc can hit him.) Really well done. I played this game back in the day and was good but could only beat it once... Joker was a bitch. I never knew about that trick honestly.
