Very bad video work. I am getting seasick after a minute. This video suppose to be an instructional program not a M-TV style un-watchable tilting, moving, zooming in and out video. The camera operator has no clue how to shoot this kind of programs.

You can't shingle over the entire flashing, otherwise you are inviting leaks. Only the upper part of the flashing should be covered by shingles. They're doing it correctly.
not too crazy about the roofing job, could have just removed the shingles, placed that plastic piece on the bare roof, then re-roof on top of the plastic piece. Just so when the roof gets re-shingled won't have to worry about removing the dome. But oh well, it's a great way to light up your house.
Guess none of these DIY people have ever heard of a plumb bob.
