Hey, I tried learning sweep picking before but I just gave up. Now I'm starting to learn again. I just want help understand the easiest way to pick the sweep in this intro. Right now I'm doing D-U-U-U-D-D-D-U-U-U-D-D (D=down stroke U=up). The part I'm not sure about is the 3 sequential notes on the 1st string. Should I do 2 downstrokes in a row (12th and 14th fret) so the 3rd note on 1st string can be an upstroke? It just feels odd since Im so used to alternate picking. Thanks for any help.
