  • Thank you so much for responding! I will now leave my hair alone and just get it redone every 3 weeks. Continue to enjoy your journey and have a terrific day! :)

  • yeah ur dreads look great and ur eyes r beautiful... i hope u make more videos soon.. oh yeah check me out and i hope u sub to my pg

  • @MyMindsEye407 Thank you :) I'll stop by your page in a few.

  • your locs are beautiful! Did you keep twisting them during the budding stage? I'm in my budding stage and I feel like if Idon't keep twisting the fat ones my locs are'nt going to look thin & neat in the long run. Please help by responding. Thank you in advance!!! :)

  • @cristoamor73 I appreciate it :) I don't twist or palm roll. I interlock the roots and leave the length alone. My locs did start off fatter. That is natural. As your hair starts to condense they will become thinner. If you twist too much or too tight you will weaken your stands and when they get longer they won't be able to handle the weight. Then you will leave a lock on aisle 9 at the market! lol. Really though, just be careful.

  • Hi, gorgeous locs! I have questions. Since you said that you are not covering your locs much at night, do you have a lint problem? If you do, how do you take care of it? Are your locs thinner because of latching, or because of small parts?

  • @originalathena Hi and thank you for the compliment! I don't have a lint problem only because I am careful of the pillowcases I sleep on (no flannel, no 100% cotton). My locs are thinner definitely due to latching. I know because the tips are fatter than the roots...tips were started with twists.

  • The coils are super cool.

  • @PebblesPages :) I like 'em too.

  • Your locs are gorgeous... You need to post more videos and show 180 degree angles of your hair!

  • @charles42379 Thank you and I will consider it :)

  • Wow your locs are very beautiful, You give me inspiration. Thanks Sista for sharing.

  • @msfullroller What a great surprise! I do feel good, thank you. And you?

  • @FlixChick I'm hanging in there. Thanks so much for asking!

  • nice dreads, cant wait till my hair starts to grow lol

  • @YoungNMarried I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

  • Hello...

I am also interlocking, (at FIVE months Now...)! I guess the scare for me is, the fear that they may not lock.... I see that your hair locked, can you share a time frame of them maturing, and any encouragement....

They look good mama, ( ENVY< ENVY...)

    Thanks...

  • @MrDessaline2 Thank you :) If I can remember, they started looking like true dreadlocks around the 7-8 month mark. They got really frizzy all of a sudden and then they locked. They do it all by themselves without our interference. Whatever you do DO NOT CUT OR TRIM YOUR FRIZZ! You need that stuff to lock up.

  • I love this video. So real and sooooo funny! Your locs look great and it's comforting to know you don't have to do much to have them look good.

  • April 2008 makes you 3 yrs right? Nevertheless they look nice.

  • @jsix4evr Thank you. You are exactly right. I completed my third year April 19, 2011. I am right smack in the middle of my fourth year. I chose to count the time ahead instead of time past for various reasons. Sorry for the confusion :)

  • man simplicity is the key, your hair is it!!! umm and I so didn't put you on blast, lol- glad you did the video. you had me dyin when you started talking about damien

  • @yaydah Yeah you called me out for not updating :) I haven't seen you in a year and your hair has really grown.

  • I tried to thumbs up but its disabled :( Your locs look fantastic and the colour is shining. Seems we started around the same time give or take some months. Locs in the bum crack not a good look or thought, uuurrrl, lol.

  • @DollyMat Thank you :D You are one of my inspirational crowns.

  • @FlixChick Likewise... it was people like you that kept me from taking them down in my Fotki days and there were many times.

    Grow on, sis!!
