  • Actual, he is doing everything properly (with the lack of explanation) the can of CO2, when held upside down, wont cause any harm to your PC, unless for some odd reason, what you are spraying is extremely hot, then it can cause it to crack. The "damp" cloth is fine, long as it isn't too damp, just barley any moister wont harm anything, unless you leave your computer plugged like a neanderthal.

  • i just died... he wiped his video card with a... DAMP CLOTH!!!!

  • hoooly shit mother of god and all the saints :|

  • NEVER TURN THE CAN UPSIDE DOWN.

When you do that liquid comes out, and that is BAD.

This guy is giving people BAD information, DO NOT FOLLOW THESE VIDEOS.

  • This guy is very unprofessional.

That is the worst way to use the compressed air. If you continue to hold down the nozzle eventually water will come out, which is not what you want on your hardware.

  • SHORT BURSTS shitbag...liquid is flying all over the place...

  • OMG STATIC electricity + moisture fucks ur comp!!! Im tempted to get a garden blower and clean it with that.

  • I saw someone do that in a related video, go for it.

  • compressed air man, same thing as the blower.. but.. ALOT more safe :)

  • Nop, I figured this out not long ago. The air has moisture in it, compress that and you can sorta imagine the amount of liquid inside the tank, you will never get pure air. Air in a can is the best bet or use a new/small compressor and dont turn on your computer for a few hours.

  • @matt91gee

Air in a can is compressed liquid CO2. The can cools rapidly as the CO2 is released and expands from its compressed liquid form into its gaseous form. Holding the can upside down releases snow, as the liquid CO2 which collects at the bottom of the can is shot out before it can vaporize. Holding the can upside down will not hurt your PC in any way, as the snow is just CO2 in its compressed form (dry ice). CO2 is also non-conductive since it is a covalent compound.

  • Seeing him wipe a damp cloth over all those circuits made me cringe a little.

  • that's not the right way to do it- is pc was not even dirty--

  • did he just wiped the hardware like you wipe a table?

  • That spray cant be too good, if water comes out it can damage hardware...i just take everything apart onces in a while and clean it by hand with soft toilet paper

  • Using a damp cloth to wipe the fan grill externally is okay, but never use a damp cloth to wipe the internal circuitry components. what a pc technician dude.

  • Don't shake the air can so much that the liquid sprays out. Seemed like he was in such a hurry to just get this over with.

  • no!!! never ever use a damp cloth and wipe it down like that it can break and esd anything

and u also have to clean your capssitors with q tip

and use a tooth brush to do the job of the (cloth)
