  • No problem, just give me a few details on what is or isn't happening with your horns and I'll see if we can work out the bugs. You can email me at dozerboy0714@hotmail.com

  • Hey having trouble making your horns friend bought me your plans for Christmas wondering if you could help.

  • Don't change a thing i think you have got the M5'S right on !! you got a good ear. It sounds Great. I am a Trainfan and have not herd better.

  • No I haven't. Another builder sent me pics of a K5LA set that he built. and it was amazing. One picture was from about 20 feet away mounted on his truck and I almost couldn't tell that they weren't the real thing. He even melted the plastic funnels somehow and made a nice wide flair on the ends of them. There sure is a lot of talented builders out there. Scott

  • These sound Great Have you made a K5LA with the new design, seems to sound a little cleaner.

  • I have about $120 into this set. You can deduct $50 from that cost by not adding the fancy nickel flair ends to the funnels. You can build a 3 bell set for around $45-$50. You can find my plans for sale on eBay by searching under "PVC Train Horn". Thanks for looking.

  • how much would it cost to make this set?

  • That's the world's loudest electric golf cart.

  • This is the video that convinced me to buy your booklet. I'm planning on tuning mine to the Leslie S-5T's B,D#,F#,A,C#, with a solenoid to block off the F# and C# bells for an optional S-3L tone.

  • dont thin ktaht is an M5 try a few go trnsit engines to see what an m5 sounds like

  • @stcatharinesrailfan Actually, there are several chords that an M5 can sound like. This horn plays the chord that was the original tuning for the M5.

  • @stcatharinesrailfan But then again you realize these are made from plumbing parts and are homebuilt, right? Pretty impressive when you think of it that way.

  • I have two horns built and I am very impressed with how loud they are. I bought enough stuff to build about 8 more. I still need to tune them and I don't know if I am looking forward to doing that part of it. Building these makes me appreciate just how much time you must have tied up in your horns. I realize a guy could just slap them together but I don't think the results be at all like yours. Thanks again for the book and the very helpful bonus videos. Your alternate diaphrams rock!!!!

  • Does your book show you how to tune the horns?

  • Very Nice. I'm buying the book. Thanks.

  • What great sounding horns!!! I really love my boat horn. Would be interested in the new diaphram. Good job.

  • HI, I GOT YOUR BOOK AND BUILT THESE HORNS, THEY ARE INCREDIBLE!

ANYBODY WHO WANTS THESE HAS TO GET YOUR BOOK, SO EASY TO BUILD AND LOUD! I'LL POST A VID OF MINE SHORTLY.

  • Got your booklet, very informative. and I am building a set now.

All I need next is a golf cart!

  • Hey buddy wow I love it these really do the job sounds like you had training on the engine of a train ahhahaa. I haven't get around yet on building mine from your nice book. I suggest to others that if they want a nice set of horns like this gentleman has you better buy his book on ebay I did and cant wait to start on mine. Keep up the good work my friend oh and also I am going to put mine on my golf cart also. I only use my golf cart for getting here and there I am disabled.
