  • Great movie!!!

  • what a great scene...havent seen it yet cant wait..

  • The two most badass cowboys i ver seen besides eastwood is steve mcqueen and charles bronson.

  • shooting a horse was like someone blowing up your car in front of you.... no wait... scratch that... shooting a man's horse was like shooting their best friend - the fat prick in this scene got off easy ;)

  • if he wouldve shot him with a 12 guage shot gun full of buck shot there wouldnve been anything left of his ass.

  • Tom horn has anger management issues no doubt. he wouldve made a good villian for clint eastwood. anyone agree? Who was a more tough guy bad ass, clint eastwood or steve mcqueen?

  • tom horn makes clint eastwood look like a pussy.

  • The musical score & sound dept on this scene amplify the act of violence 10 fold, making it horrific. More than the bloody visual garbage you see in most films today. That is the beauty of a combination of fine acting and directing that is sorely missed in films today. All bang, no skill - ZERO story - just endless visual noise. Tom Horn was indeed a brilliant film & Steve was as classic in his later years as he ever was.

  • Real Tom Horn toted a Win. 94 .30-30 but I'm glad they brought in a black-powder roarin' '76 instead. Much more dramatic and screen-filling.That is hands down the most awesome western ever...and my personal favorite! Can't figure why neither AMC nor TBS never air this one?

  • Hands down, toughest hero ever to wear suspenders.

  • Nothing savage about it. Kinda normal reactin for shotting a horse.

Good acting over came a pretty bad script.

  • you killed inigo montoya , and the horse he rode in on, prepare to die

  • Never kill Tom Horn's horse. Friendly advice

  • MY GREAT UNCLE PUNCHED A HORSE IN BETWEEN THE EYES AFTER IT KICKED MY GREAT AUNT IN THE HEAD IT DROPED DEAD AND MY GREAT UNCLE SHOT IN THE THE HEAD 4 STATE OF MIND

  • lol what a shot, falls off his horse and still gets a headshot

  • The shift from pedestal/tripod to hand-held as the horse is shot is brilliant directing. Adds to Horn's anger/instability.

  • Drug addict loses, hole in the head

    Cowboy wins, BIG TIME

    Nuf Said

  • champion?

  • Hell yeah! Revenge killing Overkill.. Loved this movie since i was a kid. RIP Steve McQueen

  • Boom! right in the head.

Jack Bauer on a fucking horse!

  • Howdy ya'll. Can anyone reomend any more modern made westerns?

  • This is one of the greatest westerns and by far the best acting Steve ever did. Unbelievably great performance.

  • @2vintage68 This low budget crapfest was a flop.

  • @JuanMacready Actually ur wrong. You need to watch more old movies.

  • @rredman84 This awful film was hardly released at all in 1980.

  • @JuanMacready Your statement PROVES the age-old theory that "Opinions are akin to AssHoles.

Everybody has one. & at any given time, 50% are filled with Shit."

  • @JuanMacready

The only flop around here is you, loser.

  • Brilliant. Underrated classic. McQueen is sensational.

  • I have, and I'd do the same thing!

  • If you ever owned a good horse-with personality and smarts you would comprehend Horn's savagery.

  • @Tempestzzzz yep I agree, if someone did that to my parrott.. I would be WELL pissed off!!

  • True, he short stroked the last shot but it was in character that he did...he was really upset about his horse and was shooting as fast as he could.....great scene....McQueen should have did more westerns.

  • Check out his TV shows - before he became a household name.

  • the horse really did get killed by accident in that scene....not to worry though the cast and crew cleaned cooked and ate the horse on location....steve got super fuckin pissed at the time but later stated that the horse meat was delicious especially the stew they made....read this little tid bit on wikipedia....crazy times back then !

  • @cholulasaucehot You mean the use 'live' rounds to shoot that scene? Unless the horse got killed some other way.

  • @ccrich100 it came up lame accident not shot

  • @cholulasaucehot Really? I tried finding that on wiki but couldn't. They really ate the horse?

  • @rredman84 yup im not lying i read it for real

  • coooool

  • 325oleg, please upload ,if possible, more scenes from this movie. Hugh McCqueen fan. Thanks for the memories.
