Not really -- her celadon eyes are attractive, not great; but, asymmetrical placement of enhanced full eyebrows reigned, A plus; refined low brow (experts: a non-classical feature, one less preferred), her amorphous lips, though well placed, paired to a pretty smile and genuine teeth of superior formation, were offset by even one thirds iconography: does not mitigate a LARGE square jaw, which while still young, an oval could be culled from makeup, angle & lighting: age brought out Neanderthal!
@CarCriticAssessor Soooooo...you're saying she's really ugly? That her youth barely hid an ugliness to come? She looks damn beautiful to me. You must be blind.
@5FnX17: What was conveyed in the masterfully created imagery of a young Brooke Shields, compared to the current version ... speaks volumes in and of itself, and requires no further -- or for that matter any -- notification from nor explication by yours truly. Regards ... from a highly-informed, mega-qualified cross-functional and cross-discipline (and blessed physically myself) source, indeed. ;-) Oddly, the less stellar sequel casted Milla ... has, for many, "unexpectedly" thrived
People with long hair need to burn their straightening irons (or tongs) and put the heated rollers back in their hair again so that their hair can look more like this again. At least rollers and heated rollers are safer for the hair.
the only good shampoo i remember from that time was jhirmack. other than that, not much else. it was a strange time, almost all products either used only balsam or honey. they hardly used any other botanicals like other countries. now they do. weird.
the american products back then were awful and chemically. the good products back then were from europe and asia. now america has got better basic hygiene products and a lot more choices but they still are not as good as the ones from europe or asia still.
alright, well i almost started crying while watching this commercial. I think i would give almost anything to have my hair like that (even for just a day)!
@misshollygolighty don't forget she was undoubtedly aided by a team of professional stylists while making the commercial, which is what you could call "a big advantage"!
@robatsea2009 I disagree. During this time, public image was a lot more relaxed, and "self-created". This was during a time when the media was trying to get away from that perfectly preened look of the vintage era, and in everything - from music, to film, there was a lot less emphases being a "cash cow", and having things done for you in that same manner there is today. Brooke Shields did her own hair and makeup for a lot of public events, whereas you hardly find that today.
@princepersia1 No wonder you live in Burbank with the stuck up girls, there's still some nice ones around but there in different parts of the country.
@princepersia1 I think you'll find that the Southeast has the best girls. It's not even close. They're much more nice, cute, and girly than girls in other parts of the country these days.
Excellent Commercial!! A Brilliant 10 From 1980!!

In the 80s every woman they picked, well known or unknown, had naturally the best hair. Use hair extensions to come alive! LOL

Oh My God
I'm sooo jealous! her hair, it's unbelievable, but it is her real hair. today's hair stuff commercials are veru fake,
now they make hair look beautiful (and fake) by computers. this is natural beauty.

@robatsea2009 But for this commercial, yes. However her hair often had this amount of volume.
