Actually, they're usually not really HIS ideas entirely. He does very minimal scriptwriting, if at all. He just directs and produces what other people come up with.

What's also funny is I was on a website today where the ad for this movie came up. Normally I would click close immediately, but that was the first online add I've ever scene that was actually pretty cool... It was a cat that slowly appeared onto my computer screen out of a cloud of smoke. Pretty awesome effect.

Looks good, I've always liked Alice in Wonderland, I just hope this sort of realistic approach doesn't ruin it, and most importantly I hope it sticks to the original storyline
