The author, Wayne Lytle of Animusic, is composer, musician, computer scientist, and artist. He actually "plays" these visual animations through MIDI tracks. Quite imaginative and original. The music/visual coordination is extremely tight, a discipline that goes way back to his high school band days. You can see more and order DVDs through the animusic website.

I know it used to air on YTV in canada, animated by the same people who made reboot....but I'm not sure they made the song for it, or animated the scene to the song. whatever it is, it rules, there's a few other like it out there.
