@cramtoro the galaxy background was not part of the finished art piece, just used here for the video. Because of Mr White's interest in space I thought it appropriate. The original background is more colorful and abstract. Explaining all the nuances of a piece of art after you've created is tedious. Either you like it or you don't, for what ever reason. But this is not about me or my "motives" but about the simple question of whether your claims about how you created that image are true or false. It is about whether, as you claimed, you drew the base image on your sketch pad, or used a simple "one-click" filter for the whole thing, with the exception of the eyes.

I made no attempts to hide the fact that I used a scanner and Photoshop Image Ready. Try to read everything, not just the parts you can twist to make you appear right.

The "entirely different image" of Mr White was included for many reasons, the main one was to show Mr White the difference between a photo of him and an artists representation of him. My painting of him was created using a model image. Many times artist will create from a photo reference like I have here.

A lot of paintings are created from a photo subject. I paused the video on what I thought was an interesting facial expression. Then like most artists, I took out my sketch pad and made some rough drawings....cont...
@WhiteJarrah ...cont... I work in several different mediums of art, sometime I combine a few for the finished project. For this project I used pastels to draw the base image. I scanned the base image and made some adjustments in Photshop Image Ready. I then made a giclee print of the image so far to give it a painted on canvas texture.(this doesn't show up that well in the video I made showcasing the image). Finally I scanned the giclee print to use for the video. My copyright claims are solid.
There is an easy way to settle this. Upload both the original scan of the painting and the exact frame from which it was referenced to an image sharing site like ImageShack. A comparison of them both would then easily establish whether it is a photo-manipulation or a real painting.
@photoshopcheck Mr White has offered a link to his video. I suggest you start there. Let us know what you come up with. I'd be interested to hear how you can "prove" this is not a real painting.

@photoshopcheck The question of how I created this piece of art came up in PM's but not in the comment section until Mr White inquired. The "entirely different image" of Mr White was included for many reasons, the main one was to show Mr White the difference between a photo of him and an artists representation of him. My painting of him was created using a model image. Many times artist will create from a photo reference like I have here.

no other public figure I have drawn has challenged the copyright of my work because they understand copyright law. Or at least their laywers do. My video here contains an image that is widely dispersed on the internet and my painting. Not only do I own the rights to my painting but I also own the rights to this video. If you think you have something to challenge here, I suggest you consult a laywer who specializes in copyright law first. I have.

I don't know what the whole point of this video is, but I'd like write in to say that this is NOT an original painting of me. The image in question comes from my "Jarrah White Loves The Power Glove" video. All she's done is taken a still-image of me from said video, removed my face from its surrounding background and played around with the contrast and brightness.

@WhiteJarrah ...cont... I work in several different mediums of art, sometime I combine a few for the finished project. For this project I used pastels to draw the base image. I scanned the base image and made some adjustments in Photshop Image Ready. I then made a giclee print of the image so far to give it a painted on canvas texture.(this doesn't show up that well in the video I made showcasing the image). Finally I scanned the giclee print to use for the video. My copyright claims are solid.

There is an easy way to settle this. Upload both the original scan of the painting and the exact frame from which it was referenced to an image sharing site like ImageShack. A comparison of them both would then easily establish whether it is a photo-manipulation or a real painting.

@DrLoisRoss I agree with Lunar Tuner JW is very sensitive about his self image the legalities are questionable if JW did not consent to it being shown in a public forum like You Tube thats what concerns me Dr Ross. If JW dose become rich and everyone knows what happens when rich people get offended they get a Lawyer and start sueing i would not want to see anyone prosecuted over an image like this 1.

@ccc771 I appreciate your concern for me. But, JW is already in the public forum we call YouTube. There is nothing illegal about my painting or this video. People have the right to sue no matter what their financial status. But first they should consult a lawyer. I have, and I am well within my rights to post my artwork here. I can't see any reason why JW would be offended by my artwork, but if he is, he is free to contact me here at any time. Thanks.

This is somewhat horrifying. From what I know, Jarrah is very, very sensitive about his personal image. You are indeed a brave person to do artwork the even mentions the great JW's name! What are the legal implications? It boggles the mind!
And then there's the image itself which is also horrifying ;)
