when i first saw this, this was the scene that ripped me apart! I was teary eyed the whole time, but this scene was what did me in! still does (just not as extreme!) I can't help but feel emotional at this! His emotion of his gratefulness to God for his 9 years with his daughter... ah! so touching!

Saw this movie at my church last night and it was awesome. One of, if not the nest movie I've ever seen. It made me smile, laugh, cry among other things. Just a ton of different emotions seeing this film. I will be purchasing this on blu-ray this coming week.

Provident Films productions just keep getting better and better. They really have the hand of God on what they do. Entertaining, changing people's lives for the better, introducing Jesus and making Him famous, this is everything a movie is supposed to be, the exact opposite of Hollywood.

I have never cried as much as an adult as I did during this scene in Courageous. It took me totally by surprise. I knew that he was going to go back, get out & dance "alone," but I had no idea that I would actually be uttering deep, loud sobs as he did. Wow. This is the only movie I've ever been to at a theatre that got a *standing ovation* at the end, Christians and unbelievers alike! I want desperately to be courageous now for my wife & 10 year old daughter. Incredible, awesome, wonderful!

May I suggest that its not a good idea to promote a Christian movie by showing footage illegally taped in a movie theater? With that said, the conclusion of this scene is amazing...the musical turn is the secret weapon, followed by a vert good performance by Kendrick and nice camerawork. The scene could have been a disaster (a man dancing by himself in a field) but they made it work brilliantly. Great filmmaking.

One of the best movies I have ever seen. I cried like a baby. This is my favorite scene. What a strong person you would have to be to thank the Lord for the time you got to spend with a loved one when they pass away unexpectedly. I pray that no one would have to go through this but if they do, I pray that they remember that everything that happens is the Lord's will and while we might not understand and we might get upset and angry, He has a plan for all of us and we must have faith in that.
