  • what part of technocracy does tebowing fit into i wonder?

  • Damn technophobes.

  • Gahhhhhhh just the sound of this man's voice made me feel like I was raped.

  • It all depends on which paradigm you choose to except. Do you value freedom over safety or safety over freedom.

  • @AceObrin "a governance of function enabled by science is the only viable way forward" for who? And why has "science" become the holy grail of our existance? I would argue that creativity and art are MORE important than science. Much less fallible as well.

  • @creamrising sorry but thats kind of dumb in terms of progressing our species and making people happier. art and creativity are merely rearrangements of known ideas. take note of how after the human race reached the enlightenment and renaissance that freedom and human rights began to take shape. both science and individual freedom have a positive correlation(but not a proven causation.) point is we had our arts&creativity time, and we moved away from it cause it couldnt satisfy our basic needs

  • As if our current government here in the U.S. isn't trying to manipulate the masses.

  • This video is extremely important and informative, but the reason it gets so many thumbs down is because its name, "Technocracy", is a misnomer; Technocracy is something completely different (and good) from the subject matter dealt with here.

  • Looks like the cultist Zeitgeister's have been here thumbing down the truth. Great upload!

  • @creamrising It's not just the "Zeitgeisters," that see this as trash, but also people who have actually studied Technocracy, Inc.'s findings via the Technocracy Study Course and understand that a governance of function enabled by science is the only viable way forward, rather than hopelessly clinging to backwards superstitions and folkways and the inevitable sensationalist alarm that arises from willful ignorance of the past 200 years of scientific progress.

  • Isn't social engineering socialism, the minipulation of man's free will.

  • Well, duh: who ever doubted that American education was structured in the 20th century to produce obedient citizens & factory workers. That said, thanks to the occasional (!) independent-minded teacher, a lot of education resulted anyway, resulting in a critical population. Unfortunately, the post-Reagen era (think of NCLB & charter schools for rich kids) has undermined the teaching of critical skills. Where's Chomsky when we need him most?

  • This guy is a retard. ignore him.

  • Uh oh... another attack by the lizard heads.

No doubt we will have to load these people up and transport them to the FEMA camps... ha ha.

    N.W.O. lizard head crackpots.

  • Technocracyvan(dot)ca.:

"'Technocracy' [is] any social system which is organized and integrated on an Area basis to apply the knowledge of science and the methods of technology to the physical operations of the Area, and which has the objective of achieving the highest sustained standard of living for all of its inhabitants that its physical factors permit, and whose ultimate objectives are the production and distribution of abundance."

Nowhere does this imply control of people.

  • I found the photos of Technocracy Inc. meetings absolutely laughable. TechInc has nothing what-so-ever to do with docile populations, nor control over the people.

This video completely misrepresents genuine technocracy.

Once again, the NWOers, fascists, etc. are keen on subjugating a word for their own uses.

  • I threw my hat in with Technocracy a long time ago. How many times does the stock market need to crash and booms and busts have to happen before people realize that money is the worst way to economize things? Money is the worst way to allocate resources. We need economic reform. Not monetary reform or banking reform.

  • @kermitcintronsucks I'd go a step further and say "social reform"--as mere economic reform would be subject to political interference with the current social structure as it is.

  • @hoser4 Yeah the N.W.O people maybe the most ignorant group around. Very much changing the word meaning yes. TechInc had nothing to do with the Price System. It is energy economics in a non market system

  • @TBonePickensetc Do not forget that Technocracy in itself is not purely in favour of the 'energy price system', nor all Technocrats are. I personally do not see it as viable.

  • @11RisingPhoenix Listen dumb ass.... there is no energy price system. Its an accounting system to keep track of resources only. Do some homework. Google Technocracy technate for starters.

  • @TBonePickensetc Hey, no need to take it at a personall level. Also, I already know what a Technocracy is. Point was, a bunch of "TECHNOCRACY IS NWO!!!111" videos I have seen portray Technocracy as a Central Planning system. It is not.

  • @11RisingPhoenix Again stop talking about this. Your uninformed. It is a Central planned economy made o of Sequences of governance.... its a classic governing system. Google 'Encyclopedia of Earth biophysical economics' for more information.

  • @TBonePickensetc OK, bad choice of words. I meant to say it was not the "Global Stalinist Dictatorship One-Pary Mind Control" the NWO crowd says it is.

  • @TBonePickensetc I took a time to read the sources you cited. With that in mind, both you and I are correct: I am not a Technocrat, nor you support a "Stalinist Dictatorship".

However. Besides the failures of Central Planning (which, unsurprisingly, Biophyisical economics made no attempt to redeem), Technocrats seem to believe that the entire system is entropic. This is wrong. The universe is anti-entropic. The growth of the human populace is also anti-entropic.

  • @11RisingPhoenix I have no clue as to what you are talking about.... its moot anyway and does not fit or apply. The technate design is a science based social system. It uses energy accounting to measure resources to population. Capitalism as given by Corporations is about as centrally planned as to global corporatocracy as is possible so your point is lost.... if you have a point. Other wise look at a place like 'TechnocracyTechnateorg'' for more info.

  • @TBonePickensetc I am not saying Capitalism is perfect -- I am not a Capitalism. My point is, Central Planning is unsustainable and will inevitably fail, because we lack a true method of -- for lack of a better term "unity" to fully maximize the efficiency of such a system. We are a social species, but not part of a hive-mind.

Large corporations are bad, do not get me wrong, but planning done by individuals for individuals is far better than committes/councils/central plans.

  • @11RisingPhoenix I am not interested in exchanging ideas with you. Your obviously mainstream. Its too late for special interest groups to pfuck up society any more and resources dwindle. Again your just following information you thought of previously and Technocracy ideas are unrelated to what your talking about. Not interested now in your further comments. Go to some libertarian site or something. Bye.

  • @TBonePickensetc "Oh yeah, I can not win an argument, so I will use ad hominem and run away!" Dude, do you know what is mainstream? YOU. Screw Technocracy, it is a failed system, it is wetpainted SOVIET COMMUNISM. But oh wait, you are just another ideologe, so you see everything in black and white, and since I am not an idiot to buy your false ideology, then I am the enemy.

    Have a good day.

  • @TBonePickensetc In short man, before calling me -- a RADICAL REVISIONIST who is ANTI-CORPORATE mainstream, look at yourself. You are just the product of physiocratic defunction, environmentalist propaganda, and what else. So much fail. I do not know why I thought you had a brain. Maybe I was stupid enought to believe that 'Technocrats' used 'science and logic'. Seems you are just another brand of ideologes.

  • @TBonePickensetc My second point is, Technocracy "uses energy accounting to measure resources to population, and in theory this works because we are able to produce energy in relatively cheap & automated (and safe) ways, but in practice, you can not fed anyone with energy alone, nor you can teach/train/work/etc. Energy is an important part of our reality itself, but it is not matter, and we can not turn it into matter. Not yet, at least.

  • Lol, wtf is this? A couple of books no one ever heard of, written by some paranoid people and narrated by a morphine-sluggish voice with dramatic music in the background, trying to be loose change or Zeitgeist?

People will never lose the ability to think critically, no matter how far social engineering is perfected.
