Dude i Own a FJ and from personal off road experiance THEY ROCK!, just make sure to get the offroad package

not sure about the v8's, but if you are handy with a wrench you should pick up a chiltons book at your local parts store and check out the procedure. All u should need is a jack with a block of wood under the oil pan to hold up the engine. I shure the harder of the bolts will be the ones attached to the engine. If u decide to do it do yourself a favor and start sprayinf down the bolts with some PB Blaster a few days in advance.
