  • Sorry if this is a dumb question but would a gun store be the best place to get all the info I'd need for owning a gun or would it be best just to go to the RCMP/Police station.

  • @rampoojohns I don't know if you can find it in store, check your nearest gun shop, otherwise you buy it as part of the course material for the class. You can also buy it online or download a PDF copy. One place I found that you can download the manual (or buy it if you want) is fseso.org

  • @rampoojohns You didn't read my previous reply did you? Either check your nearest gun shop or find the nearest class and buy a copy from the instructors, or go to fseso.org and either download a pdf copy of the study manual or buy it online there.

  • @rampoojohns

Google the firearms officer in your area, and get their address. I went down and got a list of people offering the course, and at the bottom of the page it gave me an address here in winnipeg where I could go down and purchase the handbook.

  • @LuigiRockz230 Are you asking where this video was filmed? I don't know. This safety video was actually done in the early 80s or 90s.

  • @allthingsmustend

Late 90's or ealy 2000's because the red SUV is a 98-99 ford explorer

  • bullshit video

  • Dude I could give a way better class than this.

  • Can anyone recommend a course class in Toronto?

  • @MrJaneFinch Try "FAC Firearms Academy Canada", you can look up more details at their website, the url to which I can't post because YouTube doesn't allow that, just google it. They do FAC and Firearms License (FL) Courses and Exams in the Toronto area.

  • @MrJaneFinch I booked mine with FAC Firearm academy of Canada, they do classes on Jane and Wilson and lakeshore

  • @MrJaneFinch there is courses in brampton area.

  • @NightRyder4life u only have to be 18 to get ur pal because im geting me resticted firearms lisence and im only 11 and canadian but i do have to wait untill im 12 till they will send it to me :(

  • The guy handling the firearms in that video is a moronic idiot from Ontario, who now lives in Vancouver British Columbia. We kicked him the fuck out of Ontario years ago. Murray Gardner is his name and he's the biggest fucktard that side of the rockies. He thinks he knows everything about everything. A right fucking know-it-all that's for sure. What a fucking jerk.

  • @LoboNegroGrande Down in the USA we use the generic term "asshole".

  • @LoboNegroGrande you kicked him out of the whole province?!/ what the fuck did he do and how the hell do you kick someone out of a whole province?

  • @RazorCell7

I guess he was finally so embarrassed he just up and left. He always thought he was God's gift to gun users and he always knew everything about everything. We finally got so fuckin fed up with his cheating in shooting competitions so we sorta made it difficult for him to stick around.

Too bad for British Columbia cuz now they have one more dickheaded asshole than they need, or wanted.

Glad to get the fuck rid of him though.

  • the course is offered in many locations all accross the country, every city or area will have testing and training centers.

    CFSC 10 hour course & test = $130.00

    CRFSC 10 hour course & test = $130.00

    Both courses 16 hours & both tests = $220.00

  • Cdn. Firearms Safety Courses are often offered at community colleges across Canada several times throughout the year. The cost is usually $50.00 for the 3 to 4 day non-restricted firearms course. If you're between the age of 12-17 you can get a "Minors' Possession Licence" (providing you pass the C.F.S.course). The Minors' Possession Licence allows those under 18 years of age to *borrow* a non-restricted shotgun or rifle for acceptable purposes such as hunting or target shooting.

  • It is every Canadian's responsibility, no matter where they live, to make the pilgrimage to Toronto in order to complete the Firearms Safety Course.

Shame on those of you who did not know that.

  • Are you serious? No way

  • No, I wasn't being serious. Just kiddin' ya!

  • Oh ok I thought you were some lunatic lol!

  • There should be a instructor in your area. Go to your local gun shop and ask.

  • What makes you think you need to go to toronto? Im sure theres a safety courss held at your city or town.

  • lol i did this course in calgary.

    its good.

  • how old do you need to be and will you be able to purchase handguns

  • you have to be 18 or older.. and you will need to take another course to get the "restricted" firearms... which then u'll beable to buy a handgun or rifles/shotguns..

  • That's not at all true. You must be 12 years of age or older to take the Canadian Firearms Safety Course. Eighteen for the restricted course. At 18 you can simply challenge the exam and not take the course.

  • @LoboNegroGrande

buddy,.. the guy I replyed to asked about buying a hand gun... which is 18 years of age.. and when i took the course they never gave us a choice..

  • My apologies, I should have looked closer before I spke.

  • @LoboNegroGrande

hey np.. have a good one

  • considering you dont even know the legal age, goes to show that you shouldnt own one lol

  • 18 with the proper licence

  • @FATBOYLEE

I am intrested in taking this course in calgary can u recomend a facility?

    thanks
