@WahooWa1819 I agree with everything you said, except if you take off the net from its moorings, it stops the game. It should be a delay of game. You don't always have to finish your check, just like you don't always have to dump the puck up really high near the low boards.

@gsjonny im an old school type hockey guy, im young in age but i loved how they played back then, if you get hit hard you get up and fight you dont pull a crosby a cry, if you throw a big hit you dont get suspended every time or fined you just keep goin and playing hockey. now dont get me wrong there is a fine line between good hard hits and cheap ones. sorry im ranting about this to you but i hear this stuff all the time. sorry if i come off as an asshole.

@poodtang1 It doesn't occur often, but whenever it has I have never seen a penalty for it. I remember Vlad Konstantinov just pummeling one of the flyers into the net and knocking them and it all the way to the boards in the 97 finals. And just watch an old don cherry vid, he shows so many hits into the net you wonder where they all came from.
