  • and that proved what did you blow the engine?

  • why in the world would you abuse something nice like that????

  • @NASTYTHEBOY Been there done that. Just not this time. Bent a rod on a bad rev limiter setting on the original engine in the car doing a pull against an eclipse. He said I shot flames back about 20 feet behind my car.

  • mmm what you mean? I would have good or bad things in my mind?

anyway.. it's not said: I am so crazy (=stupid) that in past I even bought a tuning-item before having the car in my box ! heheheh

clearly I did it because I was sure to buy the car, after

  • i lol'd.

  • Could anyone give me the EXACT name of the front-bumper or the "brand of the frontlip" ??

I LOVE THAT SHAPE !!!!!! best ever seen !!!

  • @saddest Blazer front bumper.

  • @Triple88a

    thank you!

    crazy, I know, but I don't have a mx5, I've got a corrado g60 and a fiat 500 (2007) both tuning... if I will ever buy an mx5, that will be my bumper. I LOVE IT (!!)

  • @saddest Heh if you buy a miata a new bumper will probably be the last thing on your mind.

  • @saddest

That's a Bomex bumper. Got one on my Miata too, best NB bumper IMO.

  • @saddest It is a Bomex front bumper, I don't remember the name though, sorry.

  • @saddest It is a Bomex front bumper, I don't remember the name though, sorry.

  • @saddest It is a Bomex front bumper, I don't remember the name though, sorry.

  • sounded like a queef at the end.

  • My Z4 would toss this things salad

  • @Drlaggless Unless it is a modded Z4, it probably wouldn't have tossed that Miata's salad. at 23lbs of boost was putting down well over 350whp and weighed around 2,000lbs. When running around 16lbs of boost and putting down around 260whp, ran the 1/4 at 13.0@118mph spinning all the way down the track. When running over 20lbs of boost, pulled on many of the cars in the SuperSpeeders videos until the 125mph top speed, gear limited. Had full suspension too. I miss it dearly.

  • For some reason it really get to me when people call it a gay car, bur I jjst have to remind myself that I have a hot girlfriend and the funnest damn car ever built, so screw the haters.

  • @PsuPepperoni I heard a great response to the "gay car" comment once. They have been known to rape manlier cars in corners. xD

  • curious....will the newer model front end fit the early model? With out much fabrications done? I'm getting tired of pop ups. And I like the stationary lights. If anyone knows, please let me know.

  • nice cars, nice video!..watch my MX-5 videos.

  • Miatas aren't chick cars. Scion TC is. It's a bitch car ;)

  • ROFL at the end

    "Where ya going?" XD

  • @wajalama I was trying to roll down the hill into the lot to see what went wrong. It turns out I ran out of fuel. There is a race fuel cell in the trunk without a fuel level and a foam core to keep it from sloshing. I thought I had a 1/4 tank, apparently I was mistaken.

  • miatas are chronic =)

  • What year is that?

  • hahaha blew tha fuckin engine

  • @thedudeman123456 thats tires, not engine you moron

  • @bosniani should've said there's such thing as "stalling". But then again he wouldn't understand

  • @thedudeman123456 *the

and dont forget to get an education

    your dick is small btw

  • @arileswolf what?

  • @thedudeman123456 Nope, I just ended up running out of fuel. It started right up when we put fuel in the race cell.

  • well ask the guy with the mustang who has the girls car after u smoke it :D

  • nice burnout lol i have a 90 NA....best car ever. too damn reliable! KazeRSX is right, get past the whole gay car thing and your good. just use that stereotype to make the car sick as shit and ppl wont think your gay:D

  • should have shifted.

  • @fucingpwnz0rz I shifted in my other video. Take a look when you get a chance. The burnout is quite long.

  • like this then come n see my mx5 turbo burnout!! mx5turbojoes

  • Awesome! I woud've done the same thing man! haha. nice car

  • Okay this is a serious question and I'm prolly gonna get roasted for it... But are Miata's good cars? I was thinking about buying one because its a RWD and boy do i love imports. So an RWD import is my cup of tea ;). I was just wondering how far people have modded these things. Any help would be appreciated.

  • @xma456 They are extremely reliable from what I've heard and from the research I've made, I'm sold. I will be getting a 96' white miata, cant wait.

  • If you can get past the "gay car" stereo type its an awesome platform. Capable motors, amazing handling, etc etc. Cheap to build too.

  • They were already bald.

  • Thank you. They were already bald, figured I would have some fun before I replaced them.

  • The car did not get 30mpg at that time. The tank in the car was mounted in the trunk without a fuel guage. The tank had foam inside which did not allow to check the level of fuel in it. I thought I had more fuel than I did. The car's only body upgrade was the Bomex front bumper to replace the damaged factory aero bumper. It was also necessary to have a larger opening to fit the intercooler. Although I did get compliments on the bumper, you are entitled to your opinion. FYI stock Miatas get 29mpg

  • why are you so angry? I did not insult you, nor did I attack you, I explained the situation, big deal, I ran out of gas. Also, I too achieved over 30mpg before mods, the 29mpg was EPA highway. Also, please refrain from using profanities as young adults read these too. Thank you. Besides the radiator, what mods were done to your miata if any? Was in an M1 ('90-'97) or an M2 ('99-'05)?

  • homocowboy just likes to talk shit on youtube thats all

  • @fomocowboy 34 mpg? wtf? i get 24 mpg average my car is bone stock. 29 is a fucking dream named honda

  • dam i want a miata, every one called me gay for it... but i that wont stop me!!! *limp wrist flick + head tilt*

  • lol same here

every one says its a girls car but if you ask me there is no better car in the world

  • @LuisCostaGHOST

    @Jcashrulez

stick with it. i was getting shit from my mates before i got mine. i still have it and enjoy it 1.5 years on. just need more power now :p

  • @LuisCostaGHOST s2000 is the best car in the world lol

  • @SideSlidesSyndicate I can't deny it's a good car too if the miata didn't exist I would buy a S2000 ^^

  • @LuisCostaGHOST Everyone that calls it a girls car as either never drivin one or has and just didnt no how!

  • LOL

apart from the gay actions i was the same.

havent regreated buying one apart from the 2 seats :/

  • ahh ohwell i have a jeep and iv come to accept not sleeping or moving lots of shit in my vehicles lol

  • haha. well i managed to pull a horsefloat full of furnature with the mx ^.^ fuckin horid tho

  • never thought about the gay thing when i bought min, its just a small, light, "Cheap" fun to drive car.

and for the 2setas, i see it as a bonus, you will never have to drive to a party or concert with your car ;)

  • @Jcashrulez you forgot to add a lisp lol

  • lol

  • ahahahahha dude that sks

  • damn my moms got one but all it has is a new Polk speaker system haha

  • That has to be one of the nicest looking cars i have ever seen in my life.

  • Thank you very much. I miss my Miata and hope to build another one in the future.

  • what happened to it?

  • In the video? Or you mean, where is it now? In the video, it just ran out of fuel. It had a fuel cell in the trunk with no fuel guage, so I had no idea until I looked inside the tank. The car has since been sold to someone in Maryland, but without the turbo setup and standalone engine management. I believe it is currently raced in the Spec Miata Series in the SCCA.

  • the bomex bumper makes it so much hawter :)

  • how much does it cost to put front bakes on

  • The front brakes on this car consisted of Wilwood four-piston calipers, two-piece slotted rotors, braided lines, race-grade brake fluid, and high-temp pads. The total price for the parts was $995 and I installed them in about an hour.

  • that is one sexy miata

  • how did u do the burnout without moving at all

  • small dab of oil on back tires, front brakes on, and then foot to the floor

  • oh well having front brakes help

  • I have huge front brakes, over 300whp, and i dumped the clutch and stomped on the brakes.

  • "Where are you going?"

    lmao!

  • Turbo Kit was from racingmazda in texas, but with some modification as i used a slightly larger turbo, larger injectors and a few other upgrades from their highest kit available. I was running an electromotive tecIII. On my M2 Miata to run a standalone, I had to use an M1 alternator and a few other changes needed to be made to allow all my factory controlled items to work. It took us about a week for whole installation, working about 8-10 hours a day.

  • Where is this located

  • New City, NY

  • what frount bumper?

  • Bomex...it was the only bumper that was fiberglass and had an opening large enough for the intercooler with a low enough front lip that matched the factory side sills...it was so low though that it scraped everywhere, but i loved it!

  • looks sick!!! i want one when i boost mine!!!

  • I actually did the front bumper first...you can make enough room for a large intercooler with the stock nose if you want to...but the bomex nose does allow for quite a bit more airflow and it eliminates the front fog lights.

  • theres too many dumbasses that think they know your car better than you, plus you can see yall were laughing about running out of gas. anyway, i have a 01 miata ls that i have quite a bit of work to but nothing major, wondering what you think i should do, ill make it easy for you, have little money and not that knowledgeable about cars as i should be.

  • What is it that you want your car to ultimately be able to do? What have you done to your car so far in detail? Are you looking for road course worthy? drag racing? street performance? what is your budget? I'd be happy to help. I had over $15,000 into my car when it was all said and done.

  • ahahahaha you spent 15k on it... but run outta fuel!!!

    ahahaha

  • That's right. The fuel cell in the trunk did not have a fuel guage. With the foam inside the cell, it was not possible to see the fuel level by looking in. So, yes, even with all that money in the car, there was still more investment needed to make it perfect, much more than just a fuel guage.

  • Mainly i want to make the car as fast as possible without making it unreliable. i have a AEM ram air intake, magnacor 8.5 spark plug wires(2), TEIN strut bar and springs, flyin miata sway bars, racing beat 4 to 1 header, two mufflers, roll bar, air to fuel gauge, water temp gauge, vac pressure gauge, 1 in wheels in front and 17in in back, pirelli tires, rims are tsw volcano. i like to drag race since im scared of crashing and hurting the car and or rims. as of now maybe 200 bucks a month to work

  • Well, you honestly should decide what you want to really do with the car. If you don't have a final goal in mind, then it makes the plan for building the car difficult. Reliability issues are difficult to address once you go into forced induction. It can be done right if you have a plan. With my car, there was a lot of improvising and creativity along the way. There hadn't been many turbocharged m2 miatas at that time. To produce anything more than 150+whp will require big bux.

  • Is that a manual or auto?

  • sounds like a manual

  • you are correct, manual trans.

  • Hehe, I can just smell all the oil coking up inside the turbo after you ran out of gas... Nice escape plan!

  • why the fuck is everybody gettin mad at this guy....its his car and not urs!!! oh and dude btw....400hp from a 1.8!!! i could never do that with my 1.6, can i get a list of the mods u did?

  • Sure, now just so you know, don't expect much reliability. I bought the racingmazda Turbo X-Kit. Upgraded the turbo in the kit to a .63 A/R on a T3/T04E housing Stock engine. M1 alternator Electromotive Tec3 Standalone Timing was flat at I believe 17 degrees through redline ran the car slightly rich was running between 14 and 20lbs of boost 93+ octane stock transmission stock rear equal length tubular exhaust manifold 3" downpipe no cats
  • 2.5" flyin miata catback with dual outlet muffler

huge front mount intercooler with 2.5" piping

    620cc injectors

tial 35mm wastegate (which was too small)

greddy type s bov, which had to be replaced

  • tuning is what really made the power possible

at 7lbs of boost, over 250rwhp was made on the dyno

at 10.5lbs of boost dyno runs were in the 290-300hp range

14-16lbs of boost was close to 350+

and 20lbs was around 400hp at the wheels

  • the power numbers weren't consistant as the tune was still anything but smooth

if you want a great setup, contact ric at racingmazda

flyinmiata also has some great setups

fyi: I went through 3 transmissions and two engines before i got rid of the car, the car only had about 35k miles after nearly 6 years of ownership, honestly, the most fun car i ever had.

    also had coilover suspension

    partial cage

16" wheels with 215/40 fr and 225/40 rr tires

wilwood 4 piston brakes up front

  • bomex nose for large intercooler opening

upgraded sway bars, chassis bracing etc

needed upgraded rx7 turboII rear and trans and a built motor

I will build another one, with the goal of 500rwhp with reliability.

  • what made you decide to get rid of the car?? motor not reliable under constant high boost?

  • Engine was unbelievably reliable with high levels of boost, as long as it had a good tune. The first time around, the engine went because of lack of fuel. With a junkyard engine, it ran great beyond the selling point!

  • Hey you sound like you know your stuff, I have a 1991 mr2 turbo with a JDM 3sgte motor with an aftermarket exhaust and air intake i'm pushin 253hp, now i just bought a t3/to4e turbo for it what do you think the upgrade would be i'm just runnin the stock ct26 turbo, what hp do you think i'll be at i also have a boost controller and what exactly does t3/to4e stand for let me know

  • Well t3 i believe is the hot side or exhaust side of the turbo. The t3 stands for a size or series of turbochargers from garrett. The to4e is also size and series labeling for the cold side/intake side. The actual internal features are what really matter, for example, if it's a 60 trim or some other size. As far as power, a t3/t04e can produce upwards of 450whp on many applications, you just need the supporting mods to make that kind of power.

  • Do you have an aftermarket fuel management system like a tec3, aem, or haltec. Also, how much boost can your engine handle in its current state? Do you have large enough injectors? I needed a minimum of 580cc injectors to produce just 350 or so whp. Make sure your fuel system is up to the task, fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel rail, injectors, computer etc. Also, make sure your exhaust flows properly for you car, a 3" exhaust would be most efficient. I'd love to see pictures! Good luck!

  • Guys, quit flaming before you get your asses kicked.

I say that was a pretty good burnout.

  • The transmission was already broken, the tires were already bald and as for pollution, well I didn't help with that all that much.

We had some fun before we took the car apart, a nice smokey burnout is always fun before you teardown a car, dontcha think?

  • Thatz A nice bodykit, what kind is it? I wanna get one for mine

  • It's not a body kit, its actually just a Bomex front bumper. I needed a larger opening to fit the large front mount intercooler for my turbo set up. Everything else on the body is stock.

  • E-brake burnouts are so lame, do some donuts.

  • no idea

  • what did you do at the end of the vid? did you blow it up or wreck the trans?

  • I ran out of gas. I had a fuel cell in the trunk that did not have a gas guage connected to it. I thought I had enough gas, but I was way off. It was quite humerous when we figured I was out of gas lol.

  • get on the track and use this car for what it loves... long winding roads

  • I did, I did some road racing, autoxing and drag racing with it, but with nearly 400whp the last few months I had it, it kept breaking transmissions and various other parts. I ended up parting it out and it is excercised regularly in the miata cup class by its new owner. (non-turbo ofcourse)

  • running out of gas while in boost. you better tell me that you're gas gauge was broken cause you a fucking moron if you ran a turbo car out of gas. Didnt you know that when you run out of gas while in boost you create an instant extremely lean condition inside your engine possibly damaging the internal? Just dont do that ever again you dumb fuck.

  • Umm, I didn't have a gas guage....I had a fuel cell mounted in the trunk, the tranmission was broken and the engine was on its way out, so we just decided to try to do a massive burnout before I took it apart again. I'm no moron, how many people you know make over 400rwhp out of a stock miata 1.8 liter engine with the stock intake manifold and all stock internal components?
