1968 Dodge Station Wagon TV Commercial "Dodge Fever" theme

Some friends of my parents had a '68 Coronet 500 wagon. I loved to ride in that car, I always admired it. They pulled a coleman Tent Trailer behind it.

I just wounder what happend to all those big modar station wagons? I dont see them in the auto magazines and you cant find them at a dealer any more , you cant evan find them at the local junk yards any

more and most people that have these things like to trash them any how .

Hard to find a good car any more.

Its kinda sad to since it shows that the american family is dying of to just like the station wagon P.S. i also hate minivans

I miss seeing the old wagons.

I loved the square body shapes they had

and I love the durabilaty the had to .

I just liked those 70s-80s cars they built.

I hear you....the Magnums don't have wood grain either or roof racks....to me, white wall tires, wheel covers, roof rack and wood grain make a wagon......but they can pull a trailer....but only seats 5. They sure don't make them like they use to. I use to work for a Dodge dealer and can remember washing and cleaning Dodge Royal Monaco wagons and regular Monaco midsized wagons in 1977. That was really the end for the big wagons at Chrysler. Then mini vans came along. I hate mini vans!

They did, the Dodge Magnun, just discontinued in 2009. Had a hemi and was huge, just like the old wagons. It was basedo n the Dodge Charger/Chrysler 300 plateform. A whooping 120 inche wheel base like the old wagons too!

This looks like it was filmed at the same ranch as where the Dukes of Hazzard 2nd season was filmed.Note the short bridge that the General always seemed to drive thru.
