It is awesome - Ford have an outstanding press fleet and have an amazing team of guys that keep all the cars in mint condition. So far I have managed to get behind the wheel of this one twice in as many years.... got to think of an excuse for next year!
me too, infact, my stepdad did! we've got a tuned 343BHP one and its was going to be the group-n Escort cosworth. But they couldn't finish it in time so they made it road legal. Now we have it!!
i think thats the YBP engine not the YBT. The YBT had the blue original Cosworth engine cover and was on the earlier T34 Escort Cosworth. This is a T25 i think. The later T25 Cossie had this unique engine cover, known as the YBT. great vid and thanks for posting : )
Yes you're absolutely correct. This is definitely the later T25 model, you can also see by the smaller mirrors and the different fuel-filler flap! If I had the money, I would go for this T25 model, I think.

Only the RS200 was a better rally Ford for the street.
But still, The Escort RS Cossie is such a clean design, giant wing and all.
I wish they sent some over to the U.S. for we yanks to enjoy.

It is the YBP - I drove two from the heritage fleet one with YBT and the other (this one!) with YBP - my bad...

You can't imagine how lucky you are... :) That is my dreamcar, I would choose it over any Integrale or EVO or Impreza etc.

Yea the T25 came with an airbag steering wheel , the T34 came with a standard one , looks rather similair to a Sierra RS Cosworth
