  • It gives me great pleasure to hear from all you real people out there.

    I can confirm that i am Black British, born 1966 and had this experience in 1985 when i was living in USA for 3 months before i became a professional photographer.

    The photo's for this piece were taken on various visits to the US throughtthe 80's. The story was told and produced nearly 20 years later for Channel 4 in the UK also at SXSW Film and Music festival in Austin Texas and at the Sadlers Wells theatre in London.
