  • As a UK architectural student I agree. We are spoon-fed reasons to appreciate Venturi and Gehry's bland lego-style, but none of the students gain anything from it. Sad proof that despite the utilitarian manifestation of their artistic profession, it still is.... not what you know (or do) but WHO you know. Gehry MUST be related to Dick Cheney lol. Hmmm....maybe something in that.

  • Funny, when I was studying architecture a few years ago, Venturi was anathema. I didn't have ANY studio profs who liked Venturi or pomo, even though I like Venturi's ideas and designs very much. But it is a very funny video. Reminds me why I got out of architecture!
