There is only one other version that rates a solid second place, and that is the 'Glee' (TV) video performance. Kurt manages toembody the innocent feminine side of the performance and pull off the 'closest' rendition of Ann Margret: Look it up on YouTube. Al & Ann are the epitome of the song. My husband is a professional trumpeter and friends with Al. Apparently, Al loved this song, Ann Margret, & her voice!

In most (or all) of the other versions the women keep singing more fiercely and you can hardly hear the man, because somehow they think that's what makes them sexy. Like hampnkauai said, its like they aren't even talking to each other, just fighting for predominance. The thing I love about this version is that she's being really wooed and gets her innocent sexyness to a whole other level. It's perfect. Such a great job from both of them!

This is one of the best versions of this song. It sounds so innocent and sensual at the same time, like the song is supposed to be. Ann Margaret and Al Hirt voices blend together so wonderfully. Ann sounds so innocent and sensual while Al sounds like he knows what he is doing and trying his best to woo Ann to stay. This is so fantastic.
