Please check the typo on the title. I bet there are hundreds of ex-943 that would love to see this.
I was a loader in Mt 51. Loaded shells and powder cans. Got off her in 1982 before she was decommissioned. She was due for it too. On our last cruise we were so short of spare parts that Mt 52 would not fire, yeah that was the Navy of the late 1970's. Nothing worked right, half the time it was sleeping on deck because the A/c did not work.
