I actually think that when he apologizes to John, it isn't about giving sherlock's info. to moriarty , but it's because he knows that Sherlock is alive and they are keeping it from John.
Fantastic vid, apart from the problem that the music is mostly to loud to clearly hear the dialogue. I like the ending best (when the text flashes up).
Anyway, what music did you use? It sounded vaguely familiar and if I can't place it it's going to give me sleepless nights.

I haven't watched the ep yet, but perhaps Mycroft left Moriarty on Sherlock because he knew in the end it was the only way to get rid of him for good? Perhaps he trusted that Sherlock was Moriarty's superior and would best him? If that was the plan, it worked... (SPOILERS) Moriarty dies, Sherlock survives and assumingly makes a grandious come back some time later.
I was wondering all the time- why didn't Mycroft do more to protect Sherlock? I mean, he knew all along what was going on. Later, they even knew that Moriarty's gonna go to Baker Street, why didn't they get some bugs to find out what he's planning? Or put some in Sherlock's coat (he wears it almost always)- it was clear he's gonna talk with Moriarty sooner or later. They'd have some proofs. And they would know about the assassins. And why didn't he try to clear Sherlock's name?
Moriarty must have had a mask to pretend he was Sherlock to get the kids scared so Sherlock probly put that on his body and used him as the corpse of Sherlock

I needed a 45 minute call with her to calm down (she's not big on emotions, but VERY pragmatic and analytical) and thanks to her, I now have a few theories myself. This is an amazing video! And i love the inclusion of the violin at the very end, for some reason that's one of the most heartbreaking parts of the whole thing.
I'm not making this up, apparently after B.C. said that 'it would be hard for him to return' at that redcarpet snippet, Exec. Producer Rebecca Eaton said that he would be returning for a third outing. I'm not saying this will definitely happen, ust that it's been said. This is an amazing video. I haven't had a chance at seeing any of the new season, and some of these segments are simply incredible. I nearly died at the part where Sherlock goes, "I don't have friends" and John answers, "I wonder why. Then in the next scene Sherlock says, "I don't have friends... I only have one."

...is that weird? This is the first time where I DON'T want Sherlock and Watson to be on their own, no matter how stubborn, brave or clever they are. But as we all know, Sherlock would have none of that. But we can at the very least hope that Sherlock won't die, since every main actor wants to make a "season 3".
@SWIDanateske Season 3 was commissioned at the same time as season 2, Sherlock is still alive, you see that in the last 10 seconds or so of the episode. Though I felt the same way as you, Wycroft had surveillance on them close to constantly, how his people couldn't stalk the hitmen around I don't get.

I'm not making this up, apparently after B.C. said that 'it would be hard for him to return' at that redcarpet snippet, Exec. Producer Rebecca Eaton said that he would be returning for a third outing. I'm not saying this will definitely happen, ust that it's been said. Also, go on John Watsons online blog thing (link through bbc website) and theres a new reichenbach fall previewy video of moriarty in their flat..

This is an amazing video. I haven't had a chance at seeing any of the new season, and some of these segments are simply incredible. I nearly died at the part where Sherlock goes, "I don't have friends" and John answers, "I wonder why. Then in the next scene Sherlock says, "I don't have friends... I only have one."

...is that weird? This is the first time where I DON'T want Sherlock and Watson to be on their own, no matter how stubborn, brave or clever they are. But as we all know, Sherlock would have none of that. But we can at the very least hope that Sherlock won't die, since every main actor wants to make a "season 3".

@SWIDanateske Season 3 was commissioned at the same time as season 2, Sherlock is still alive, you see that in the last 10 seconds or so of the episode. Though I felt the same way as you, Wycroft had surveillance on them close to constantly, how his people couldn't stalk the hitmen around I don't get.

@AliceKikyou It IS, isn't it D,=?! I was GAPING at the screen when I found out, I tell you. I couldn't believe it. The entire episode completely undid me. Not even One Piece managed to make me cry this hard (and certainly not for THAT long, either), which I find truly says something about the utter and sheer brilliance of the series.
Now we shall wait patiently and drink tea 'til 2013. Now I DEFINITELY know that the world won't be ending xD! Greetings from Switzerland.

It would've crushed me to think that Mycroft did it on purpose, which I gladly never got the impression of. And since Sherlock is still alive, I forgive Mycroft. I never stay mad at people for long anyway, dammit ;D!
