  • wtf? I've just finished the 4th book, and I didn't notice anything 'love' between Sansa and Sandor...so wtf is this video?

  • I don't think its about Mr. Martin setting up the Starks for failure. Its as it is stated in title AGame of Thrones, we love the Starks because of their honor and principles, but in a game of thrones there is no honor or principles! Its who is the most ruthless and cut throat! As a person who is truly optimistic it was very hard to read intire series, because I was always thinking "Are you kidding me" or "Really" but had to look at it differently and I got it! Good doesn't always triumph! :(

  • I hope to see Sandor meet Petyr on not so nice terms.

    Lol.

  • 0:58 almost exactly like Arthas from the cover of frozen throne? or is it just me?

  • @WWJSBD I thought exactly the same when I saw this picture

  • 2:26 awww i look forward to see this scene in the series, when he rescues her from the mob.

  • Always wonderig about that in the books Sandor is only 26-28 years old, in the series he is between 35-42, so much older :S but i like the character so i can't wait until april :) :3 (of course I already read it :D )

  • @Maho88 Sandor is 28, the actor is 42. Sansa was aged, and he was too to coincide with the age differance still being improper :)

  • Sansa and the Hound??! Wow I must read the books...

  • @sekler001 if you think that's weird, read on till Hound meets Arya and no there romantic there of course, they just kill some people together

  • what's the name of the song??

  • The pictures from the Battle of the Blackwater are pretty amazing. :O So can't wait to see that in the HBO show.

  • i love the pictures chosen!

  • The Queen in The North and her faithful Hound,

  • @MagnusMindstalker yup...it makes sense, she loses her wolf and gets a hound as a replacement

  • ok im confudes what side of his face is burned his left, or our left ???

  • @TheDepreed in the books his left side is burned, but in the hbo show they changed it to his right side

  • Hodor!

  • Oh no ! Spoilers on these arts :(

  • Twilight working out here

  • SPOILER?? From AFFC -they passed a lichyard where a brother bigger than Brienne was struggling to dig a grave. (So, he's bigger than Brienne) -From the way he moved, it was plain to see that he was lame. (Sandor's wounds was in his leg)

-The gravedigger lowered his head. When Dog went to sniff him he dropped his spade and scratched his ear. (Sandor's affection for the animals on his House heraldry?).........I don't believe he's dead atleast I hope he's not

  • There is nothing awful about this, GREAT JOB. Just started reading the first book and wish that reading this series was my full time job.

  • Sansa and THE HOUND! WTF! I've only watched the HBO series and I am almost finishing the first book. And yes in the books is hinted more than in the series that he and Sansa have some interesting relationship... But not romantic... I want her to end up some nice way but not with him... He scares her for god and sake...

  • this is promising... god i have to read this books... to many books... to many are too good :( =)

  • These characthers remind me to Severus Snape and Lilly Potter....

  • Ah, I always found it to be a tragedy that Sansa yet still lives on (well, I think so; only just finished ASoS) while so many great characters die.

Like her head is filled with nothing but roses and star dust.

    ---*Spoilers*---

Even complaining about her fake persona, wishing to be the daughter from some gallant knight, who fought bravely and died valiantly instead of what would be best for her. >_>

    She's just so stupid.

I hope she changes in the few books yet unread, but I doubt it.

  • @Zerkezhi Sansa is not stupid, she's just a 11 year old girl (later 13 - in the books) who has been brought up like a true lady at that time, and since she lived in the calm north she never got to see scheming, intrigues, killing and, well, evil. She's just innocent and pure and she's trying to hold on to that, because it's her safe world of fairytale. It's almost like a defense mechanism. I don't know how much stupidity has to do with it, it's more of psychological and growing up thing.

  • @Zerkezhi I agree. I've never liked Sansa. It's unfortunate that the only thing that finally makes her start to wise up *just a little bit* is the death of all her family (at least in her mind) aside from her "bastard brother". I actually laughed a little when she was forced to marry Tyrion, it was such irony...

  • @Zerkezhi I was also thinking, if I had been her and the KG were beating me, I would threaten them/Cersei and say "if you hurt me anymore, word will spread and Robb will kill Jaime. I'll make sure of it. So let's be civil on both sides, shall we?" I guess I would have been like Arya in her position.

  • 0:59 he looks like Arthas lol

  • Stranger. Love that horse

  • this kinda creeps me out, not gunna lie

  • @FeralRed The theme song for the great drama series, Cold Case.

  • I love this video!! BUT WHERE HAVE I HEARD THIS SONG BEFORE?!

  • @FeralRed the intro of cold case maybe

  • I like the picture at 3:09, love that part in the books!

    *********************Spoiler*************************

[...] Some instinct made her lift her hand and cup his cheek with her fingers. The room was to dark for her to see him, but she could feel the stickness of the blood, and a wetness that was no blood. "Little bird," he said once more, his voice raw and harsch as steel on stone. [...]

  • @dassajackley So why did he appear to her all cover in blood? and in which one of the book do you read this scene from?

  • @jezabel02

Well, let me say it so, there is a battle and he fights there and that's the reason why he's covered in blood.

And the passage I quote is from the second book - ACoK. :)

  • @dassajackley Thank you dassajackley for taking the time in answering my question.

  • @jezabel02

    You're welcome!

  • aww the picture at 2:30 is so good

  • @thethethe777: I want that SO BAD. XD

  • Sansa and Sandor rules

    nice music!

  • I actually love the idea of the two of them together. He's the yin to her yang - the total antithesis of girlish fantasy. It's quite beautiful really.

  • hmm half these pics portray Sandor as a pretty handsome guy minus the one side of his face, in fact the book described him as a ugly monster type of guy just a little shorter than his bro

  • @waste0fspais well having the middle the face burned its enough to describe someone as an ugly monster I think.

  • What is this music? It's kinda catchy...

  • I refuse to believe that Sandor is dead, I believe his fate is ultimately linked to Sansas, though I don't think it's romantically. He is a true knight, though he just doesn't know it or would admit it.

  • @SickOmega Had a hunch that he's going to be the one to put a stop to Gregor / Frankenstein but its unlikely -it would be a bit too poetic.

  • @SickOmega Sandor hate knights, because knights is not synonymous with honorable ppl who protect the weak. To him true knights are cruel and evil ppl

  • Sandor is NOT dead, trust me. There are infinite clues to this conclusion.

  • @PlaySA what sort of clues? George Martin sometimes do offscreen deaths, like with Arya's dancing master

  • @PlaySA I'm going to guess you believe Rob is alive aswell? He can't make every character live threw the series. Thats what makes it awesome, how he can make you really like a character and then kill him off.

  • @leaderliter I sucks, we're running out of protagonists! First Ned, then Robb, now Catelyn! Jesus, does George R. Martin hate the Starks or something, cause he's really setting them up for defeat in his books.

  • Comment removed

  • @thethethe777

Ya well. Sandor is kinda dead, you know.

  • Disagree in a way. She knew full well what she was doing was against her fathers wishes, she just didnt realize the consequences.

  • @Vanharitari don't forget he'd dead:))

  • I hope sandor doesn't spend the rest of the series hiding in the monastary, it would be awesome if he rescues sansa from the vale, probably to hopefully romantic for GRR tho.

  • I think Sandor and Sansa would make a great couple.

    They're so sweet together.

  • @teshanovic1 If so, the character of Sansa would have the chance to prove it developed. From the child that liked the idea of being a princess in pretty dresses ,later be a pawn in a cruel game and don't forget Little finger. I think if she fell for Sandor, this could be wonderful love story. The Beauty and the Beast always a good plot. Martin just refined it.

  • I think Sandor loved her in his own sort of way. One must remember he grew up not knowing what is was to love or be loved. He opened up to her once and said things he never said to anyone, of course he said he would kill her should she tell anyone...so who knows lol. I do think if anyone could have warmed his cold heart, it would have been Sansa. I greatly look forward to the next book...whenever is comes out

  • @Aducairiel July 12! I know the past dates have been bull, but George RR Martin and the publishers have finally secured the date.

  • Sandor vs Rorge would be goooood o.o

Gah, I think I just hate Rorge >:(

  • @Vanharitari He is ''manly'' and it confuses me because you say 'not-fond-with-some-human-relationship type of warrior'

    1. The best warriors fight with their emotions rage/anger/love etc.

    2. Sandor is human, so he'd have human emotions. I know his nickname is The Hound, and Joffrey calls him 'Dog' but he's not really a dog y'know. It makes me wonder if you've been getting things the wrong way round...?

    3. My dog loves me lots anyway and thinks she's human so hey, you might be right :L

  • Well, I agree he may wind up killing Qyburn's Super-Gregor, but Arya would never marry him. Sansa just might, or he could become her sworn sword for life.

  • @norriswa1

The Hound is supposedly dead... George Martin reportedly removed Sandor as a POV character.. So it has people confused. Personally, if the Hound is dead, I'll be upset. I don't believe he is though. As Brienne went to hunt him down, the Monk stated the Hound is no more, but I believe he meant who Sandor used to be is dead, but not Sandor himself.. Hopefully I, along with many other people are right..

I'd love to see him fight FrankenGregor. That would be an epic fight!

  • sansa is fucking stupid, sandor is fucking awesome, hes gona fight super-gregor in dance with dragons and kick his ass and then hes gona marry arya.

  • Lovely video. I think the relationship between the Hound and Sansa is heartbreaking. It's like he TRYING not to have his feelings for her but can't help himself. I think he watched her innocence being abused, and he saw himself as a child. He disowned (he thinks) his own goodness, but he wants to fight for it through her, by protecting her.

  • nice video, you found some great pictures, and the music is lovely!

i LOVE the sansa picture at 0:27....do you know where i might find it online?

as opposed to many people, i've found that i really like sana as a character

  • sandor is indeed a tragic character

  • "a hound bleeds for you, but never lies. and he always looks straight in your face."

i may also like hounds more than knights;-) especially when I think about knights like ser gregor and so forth.

  • This is an awesome fan vid. Love the music.

  • The Hound is a character which at first you hate but when his life comes into light you strat to like...suffice to say that by the end of AFFC I truly think he is one of the best characters in the series....definately deserving POV chapters....the man has the word "badass" written all over him...

  • Sansa is such a typical princess it almost hurts. Shes probably one of the worse characters because shes so much clichee

  • @Vanharitari

There was no relationship Sandor wanted to rap her but he couldnt bring himself to do it. I think he was just taken by her beauty but his is not the monster people think he is. Though im sure he is alive i think he is going to die fighting his brother either in the next book or the one after that if GRRM doesn't die before he writes them.

  • If he does die fighting his brother, I hope he sets him on fire first. ; )

  • For smarts even though i love Tyrion i think its either Peter/ Illyrio Mopatis/Varys one of them Illyrio we haven't seen much of but i think he is a plotter big time. Arya i think is probably smarter then Sansa.

  • i think im the only one who thinks sansa is one of the smartest characters in ASIAF

  • She's getting smarter, but I wouldn't go that far.

  • Sandor's one of my favorite characters. NIce vid, got some really cool pictures and i love the music.

  • Sansa looks at least 16 in most of those pictures, but she's really only 13.

  • The hound's brother shaped him into what he was/is. He could be in the monastery. I think he will come out when the Starks need him most. Remember...he is one of the only people that Jaime Lannister was not eager to face...

  • he's not dead. GRRM announced he will have a POV chapter in A Dance of Dragons.

  • You think that Sendor is alive?

  • Yes, I'm sure Brienne saw him when she visited the monks.

  • @doriana2005A Hmm...I wonder if he's going to go chase after Sansa. :)

  • I haven't read "A Dance With Dragons" but from what I have read until now I'm sure he has survived somehow

  • Sometimes I really wish Sandor had shoved his sword in Joffery's head, but I ask too much.

  • holy crap I read some of your sansa and sandor one shots there pretty good! I like this as well. keep writing stuff so I can (spoiler) ...........keep pretending hes not dead... sob

  • Dude... Sandor is most likely not dead.

  • i still don't think he is dead, if the red priest could bring back Catelyn after what happend to her, then Sandor could easily be brought back

  • Remember, we never actually saw him die.

  • sansa is so silly

because of her her father is dead

  • @achaelmer That is stupid, her father is dead because of Joffery and because of the stubbornness of Eddard himself. But mostly because of Joffery. Where is it Sanas foult that she is innocent and belive in the good of people?

  • @Akirtiganii

She betrayed her family and dishonored her father's trust. Costing him his life, and the Starks untold grief.

  • @CousinDaveAK Betrayal is a volitional act. Sansa's innocence made her blind to the "game of thrones" so she had no way of knowing the consequences of her actions. All children are selfish and idealistic, and Sansa just so happened to be a child trapped in a political game.

  • @Akirtiganii

Eddard died because he trusted, "Littlefinger" was on his side.. And Littlefinger ended up stabbing him in the back ..

  • Good video, song name pls.

  • wow that's weird. either i forget or didn't notice sansa remembering kissing him.

i like 1:35, 2:49, 3:07. and the choice in music is amazing.

  • You have a disturbing idea of "manly". Sandor is a human being and part of being human is having feelings for other human beings.

  • @redcandle17 Yeah, whatever. I just don't like it how Sandor is made more human, because what first draws attention to him, is the fact that he's not humane. Like 180791sanguinius said. The sad thing is (what I'm trying to say here, and btw it's my opinion, no need to rage about it) that it really started to seem that GRRM started to introduce a little bit cliché-like romance between Sansa and Sandor, and I really hope that doesn't happen.Though I believe GRRM will once again "shock" the readers

  • this scares me a bit. while reading it i never imagined their relationship was romantic. when did they kiss?

  • They didn't kiss but Sansa believes they did. She "remembers" it in both ASoS and AFfC. GRRM has said that it wasn't a wasn't an error , that there's a reason Sansa remembers it that way.

  • @redcandle17 I love the Hound to pair up with Sansa

  • i rly think they make an iteresting couple,

the 3 dogs of clegane and the direwolf of stark

  • ever gone to fanfiction and look up the twisted AsoIaF stories posted up there? O.o Lanaya and Ned Stark stories

  • 2:32 and the last one are based on Natalie Portman, i think...

...which makes me even more sure 2:50 is based on someone too

  • 2:50

sansa reminds me of some actress...or someone famous....

  • 1:30 is the ugliest pic i've ever seen of sansa :D

And Sandor is not dead, he's the gravedigger on the sept island ;)

  • Spoiler! :D

  • Nah it's not. If you read feast for crows again you'll see it as well. I missed it the first time too though ;)

  • i haven't read it :<

  • Well, that's your own fault.

How can you possibly NOT read the whole series at once? ^^

    It's so addictive

  • xDDD

  • sansa and clegani are not inlove!plus he is dead!:D

  • If you think he is dead, you should read Feast for Crows more thoroughly ;-)

  • bah i read it like 1 year ago forgot alot of facts :D

  • 4:38 lol

  • Sandor isnt dead he's digging graves at this random monastery..I have a feeling we havent seent he last of our favourite Hound...

  • I hope so...He is my favourite one.

  • 1:27 is the Sansa I've pictured... A bit like Lara in "Doctor Zivago".

  • That final picture is gorgeous

  • :56 looks like the cover of WC3: Frozen Throne

  • Yea Sandor is one hella great character, one of my favourites. I cant believe the author had to kill him =(

  • Omg. SPOILER! I've read it, my bad. Damn.

  • We dont know for sure that he's really dead :)

  • aaaaw the kissing-picture is sooo cute <3

Can you tell me the link to see the whole one?

Hope, Sandor's still alice and will marry Sansa once. Actually in his own "special" (XD) way he's more "Knight" than every other man in Sansa's Life I think.

  • I love them as a couple... =,(

    Nice music, too.

  • I read Ice and Fire last month. Now I'm reading a Storm of Swords after it. I didn't realise there was another one. Now, I already know who dies and am just confirming how they died.

  • What kind of person is Sandor? Sansa does look like Lyanna. I don't know about Lyanna, I heard she's very beautful maiden but do you know about her? The pictures look like Sansa and Sandor are in Love. But why his face is bleeding and looked ugly?

  • Because its burnt....

  • Sansa doesn't/shouldn't look like Lyanna at all actually. Her sister Arya is the one who is supposed to look like Lyanna.

  • because Sansa is like 16 years old and Lyanna is 20: and Arya is 9. They kind of look like each other cause they're starks.

  • Sansa is 12 years old. She takes after her mother who has red hair. Arya takes after the Starks who all have dark hair like Lyanna.

  • Sansa takes after her mother, thats why Littlefinger helps her, he was in love with Cat, but he didn`t have a chance to be with her, so he tries with next generation;)

  • great slideshow , music fits perfect !!! keep up the good work

    btw . Hound FTW :D

  • Very nice, such a good slide show. :)

  • Jon Snow is Rhaegar Targaryen's and Lyanna Stark's bastard son! His story is the "Song of Ice and Fire" there is also an erie symbolism to him and Brynden Rivers the bastard son of Aegon IV, he later became the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch and he was an albino like Ghost.

  • He might be Legit. Rhaegar may have married Lyanna. Targaryens are famouse for having more than one wife. Though if he is a bastard would he have his name as Snow, for winterfell, where Lyanna was from, Rivers for Rhaegar or Sand for Dorne, where he was born.

  • November, The release date has been moved again. It went from April to Nov. of 2008!!! Yikes, Martin is killing me slowly with a billion other fans.

  • Hopefully it will be done for then. And this is nothing like the wait for A Feast for Crows. Luckily for me though I didn't have that wait. I just became familliar with the books in Christmas 06, so I didn't have to wait years for the next book, but they'd be worth waiting for.

  • Oh, sorry, didn't see it in the description. Nevermind :)

  • Nice slideshow. What is the song?

  • I don't remember, if someone ask me to permission to use my picture in this story...

    :/

  • shut up

  • I don't remember, if someone ask me for permission to use my picture in any story like this...

    :/

  • I congratulate you. While the music might have been mor romantic one, the vid is well done :)

  • You asked for the last two pictures to be made? How freaken grerat is that. Both are outstanding. Thank you for the info. I love the series and the artwork. I really enjoy your work and vision. Thanks Sansa28

  • the picture of Sansa at 1:30, where did you find it. I'm a freak about the series and I've enjoyed your videos. I like the last two picture also. It's nice to see new art work.

  • Thanks. I tried to reply with links to where you can find the artwork you commented on, but it seems Youtube doesn't allow that. If you want to do some googling, the Sansa pic at 1:30 was done by Christine Griffin for the card game. I found it at her Epilogue gallery.

As for the last two, they were both comissioned by me from two fan artists. The Kiss That Never Was was done by Poggy, who has a Livejournal under the username pojypojy. The last one was by M.Luisa Giliberti.
